Posted: Fri Dec 29, 2006 8:15 pmOK I've made this hero using the hero builder and I submitted it but since I haven't gotten a reply or anything yet I thought maybe I should post it up here... anyways it is a complete hero idea, as it was made with the hero builder.
Helius - Homunculus
Range: 120 | Move Speed: 280
Primary: INT
Str: 20 + 2.2 | Agi: 12 + 1.2 | Int: 25 + 2.4
Damage: 58 - 62 | HP: 530 | Mana: 325
HP Regen: 0.85 | Mana Regen: 1.01
Attack Speed: 1.6 | Armor: 3
Helius is exactly what the word Homunculus describes: a soulless, mindless being built from transmuted metal by skilled alchemists, used as a gigantic, burning war golem in battles. However, this Homunculus is special. A huge power core resides inside Helius' metallic heart, and it is said that great power is hidden within him, and that his true form which holds the ultimate destructive power must be unveiled steadily.
Alchemical Transmutation (T)
When this ability is activated, Helius begins generating gold at the cost of mana
Level 1 - cost 20 mana/sec, generate 1 gold/sec
Level 2 - cost 25 mana/sec, generate 2 gold/sec
Level 3 - cost 30 mana/sec, generate 3 gold/sec
Level 4 - cost 35 mana/sec, generate 4 gold/sec
An activateable/deactivatable ability. However, it has a cooldown before you can activate it again.
Mana Cost: 100 for activation
Cooldown: 60 sec
Framework: Just the + gold icon appears above Helius as he generates gold.
Notes: Useful skill for making gold, but be careful of your mana pool as you may need it to cast a spell.
Requiem of Flames (R)
Helius blasts the fire that is contained within his body as an energy source. He damages everything around him, but takes damage himself.
Level 1 - Deals 75 damage to self and 120 damage to all enemies at an AoE of 300 around him. Enemies that are affected by this spell receive a burn which deals 4 damage/sec for 10 seconds.
Level 2 - Deals 100 damage to self and 160 damage to all enemies at an AoE of 340 around him. Enemies that are affected by this spell receive a burn which deals 6 damage/sec for 10 seconds.
Level 3 - Deals 125 damage to self and 200 damage to all enemies at an AoE of 380 around him. Enemies that are affected by this spell receive a burn which deals 8 damage/sec for 10 seconds.
Level 4 - Deals 150 damage to self and 240 damage to all enemies at an AoE of 400 around him. Enemies that are affected by this spell receive a burn which deals 10 damage/sec for 4 seconds.
Using this spell may kill you
Mana Cost: 150/170/190/220
Cooldown: 30
Framework: Homunculus and the area of effect burst in a pillar of flames (like Blood Mage's Flame Strike). Units affected have the burn effect for as long as the burn lasts.
Notes: A useful farming skill, as well as for dealing quick damage to an enemy hero.
Homunculus Fist (F)
Helius extracts his artificial fist and hurls it to the opponent to deal massive damage that ignores protection, stunning them for a short time. Can be hurled at 600 range maximum.
Level 1 - Deals 50 Chaos damage and stuns for 0.5 sec.
Level 2 - Deals 75 Chaos damage and stuns for 0.75 sec.
Level 3 - Deals 100 Chaos damage and stuns for 1 sec.
Level 4 - Deals 125 Chaos damage and stuns for 1.25 sec.
Can be used on buildings/mechanical units as well.
Mana Cost: 80/110/150/190
Cooldown: 20
Framework: A burning fist is hurled towards the target.
Notes: Your nuke and stunner. The best thing is, damage remains the same no matter the target.
Homunculus Evolution (n/a)
A portion of Helius' power is tapped each time this skill is selected. Helius becomes much more powerful than before.
Level 1 - Helius upgrades to Helius Megistus. +250 HP, +100 mana, +2 armour, +7 damage, +5 to all attributes. Enemies within 300 AoE of Homunculus have an 8% miss chance on their attacks.
Level 2 - Helius upgrades to Helius Duos Megistus. +300 HP, +150 mana, +2 armour, +7 damage, +5 to all attributes. Enemies hit by Helius lose 5 hp/sec for the next 10 seconds. Does not stack with multiple hits.
Level 3 - Helius upgrades to Helius Tris Megistus. +300 HP, +150 mana, +2 armour, +7 damage, +5 to all attributes. Helius receives 150 AoE 15 damage/second immolation (stacks with Radiance).
Level 4 - **Accessible only with Aghanim's Scepter** Helius upgrades to Helius Magnus Megistus. +500 HP, +300 mana, +2 armour, +15 damage, +6 to all attributes. Once every 5 seconds, a random enemy within 500 AoE of Helius will receive 70 damage plus an additional 20 damage per second for 4 seconds. Heroes are given priority over creeps
Each form retains the previous form(s) ability/-ties
Mana Cost: n/a
Cooldown: n/a
Framework: Lvl 1: A small sun appears above Helius, red/gold/yellow tinting Lvl 2: Two small suns appear beside Helius, red/gold/yellow tinting Lvl 3: Three small suns appear above and beside Helius, red/gold/yellow tinting. Immolation aura Lvl 4: Helius is encircled by a huge ring of fire, red/gold/yellow tinting. Immolation aura
Notes: A very good passive ultimate that is the reason why Helius is so valuable late game

A thing with me is that i cant rank if not seeing a hero builder made hero...but i think his ulti is a little too powerful.You could make it activatable because this way helius is too strong.

@ Black Angel *dies* how did you know? Anyway it IS a hero-builder made hero, I created him then copy-pasted the final form. But the pictures wouldn't add.

nerf the ulti a little if u want it to b passive, and his 2nd skill needs a nerf cuz hes intel. make it like death coil where u do more damage to enemy than u do yourself, o yea u can buff the ms a little if u want

2nd skill-fixed.
Movement speed is lower than average for purpose, you see, he's the kind of hero that is heavily outclassed early-mid game, and it takes a lot of skill to keep up with the rest, but if you manage to play him correctly, you can truly rule at endgame.
Also, for anyone who feels the ultimate should be down-powered, what exactly do you think I should reduce? Decrease the bonuses? Remove some of them? Or nerf/remove some abilities?
