what should windrunner get to be a strong late game hero ?

I have been trying out the new hero windrunner , but it seems that it is not so powerful at late game I tried buying orchid , it was weak , could not even kill a razor with only a thread and a sny , and the other time I bought buriza , it was still quite weak at late game , cannot even fight with drow ranger with a mkb . So any ideas of what to buy ? Thanks

Windrunner is not really a late game hero, she shines more in early/mid game IMO. But I find it odd that you could lose to those heroes with her. If you use her windrunning thing, that's 5 seconds of them not being able to hit you.

Against heroes like drow razor, and other dps-ers, just use the third skil and ulti. Pwn. Cat hit you for 5 seconds is enough for you to bring them down.

I still think buriza/mkb is the best. Why? Because, with her ulti on, you have lowered dmg, but that doesnt aply to hits on which you critical or ministun with mkb. SO you can easiy pwn a hero in no time.

personally i get an orchid and a desolator and amp my enemy then work them with the minus armor and if the game continues i get mkb then crit and gg

o and btw ww is defniately a late gamer

i would go BDK, deso and mask of madness

i know a lot will disagreee with mask but i find it very usful with ult late game after these 2 items, huge healing. it is easy to farm since your a good tower killer too.

try mjollnirand buriza. super high crits with super high asp and super many lighnings= super much damage=dead

Massing proc items is a good idea I guess but I wouldn't go further than MKB. Mjolnir simply doesn't seem asuch a good idea. Better get lifesteal or EoS. Mjolnir/Maelstorm stacks with Skadi so you can buy it later. As for buriza, crits are also weakened so better get other items like orchid.

His a bit somehow similar to raijin in a sense that both are int and has good stat gain and has tons of aspd the only problem of windrunner is that your attack damage will decrease by 30% I think the decrease is only applicable on your base damage and stat items like empower but in a negative way not sure about this but if this is true you should be fine with buriza,desolator and if false try mkb maelstorm because maelstorm/mkb has an effect that dose not dependent on damage but on aspd or/and luck.

mid game...u can either make lothars or guinsoo....then make mkb and buriz...this is how it works..

if u make guinsoo....use 3rd skill and ulti together...wen 3rd skill is gone hex...then use 1st skill...make sure there's a tree or enemy behind him....if u have mkb and crixalis..u shoudnt have any problem reducing his health.

if u make lothars...use 3rd skill and ulti together...don't forget to use powershot wen applicable.....then use lothars to make him think ur retreating....use 1st skill and kill him....again...with mkb and crit he should be running for his life....after lal this time 3rd skill should be finished refreshing...activate it and run next to him...this way ur hero is ataccking the enemy while he is getting slow.....

Just dont get any true agility items on her. Thats just a waste like Mjollnir and Butterfly. Eventhough very many people want her to be agility she AINT AN AGILITY hero so buying agility items is just stupid. Get Orchid/Buriza/MKB on her. And yes she is more a early/mid game hero. But if you not let the late game heroes farm well then she still wil be very effective at lategame which is also your purpose in early and mid game -> to prevent them from farming. Get Treads -> not Phase Boots (unlike to mass popularity) Her Windrunner skill makes her fast enough. And maybe you could go for Necrominicon if you like micro. The strength really helps or just get some bracers then.

strange. ive sene her as quite good late game..

start out early with strength treads and hand of midas.

then farm for desolator.

then get hyperstone,platemail,chainmail and recipe. omg? 4got the name ofit. oh well.

then you ill be brezing through creep waves.


- armor+your massive atatck speed boost. at only 30% reduction. normally i was hitting around 100ush, but a few strikes of this hurts.


BKb is recomended...
