I find Viper is quite tricky, actually. Sometimes you just fade off mid game if you didn't gank well enough. Well, unless you play him like a point and click, which is... heresy.

I think SnK is a great hero for beginners. Only one active spell, and a chance to come back if you die. Also, the targeted stun is a great asset for allies. ^_^;;

The most important thing is to pick a hero you find fun. Try them all!

My sister just started playing and for some reason, she is doing very well as Earthshaker, though that's not really considered an "easy" hero.

razor, kardel
uhhh some ppl with a lot of passives
mabe even morted shes straight forward
farm up and pretty much blink dagger or auto atk
and u can crit easily over 1k .

I haven't been playing long, but definitely use this site for help. The guides here are invaluable. Also, ask some people what build they would use in you situation.

Personally I had good luck with Leoric and Axe early on. Clinkz is easy too because you have the most bad ass escape skill ever... just keep your finger on the W key at all times and you should do ok. Huskar is a good option too if you build his strength up early. You'll catch on how to play heroes well as you play more and read more guides. Stay away from paper support heroes for now... like Rhasta, Witch Dr, Lion, etc.
