Item build for Clockwerk

I was just wondering what item build to get with clockwerk

Er.....we all know his build.

The usual one is:
Vanguard
Vlads
BoT
Battlefury
Heart or Satanic

Most ppl make that build and it works fine.

He is not dps. YOu should just spam battery asault early, and pwn. Finish off with rockets. Mid-late, the same, but now ensure kills with cog.

remember to include lifesteal(vlads), hp(tarrasque), BoT, bfury, and whatever else you feel like

Just think of Clock as the weaker version of Bradwarden... Horrible DPS so tank him out and make him really annoying to enemies.

HoT
Radiance
Shiva
Scythe of Vyse
Satanic

Lots of HP, annoying disables, some evasion, lots of armor, and some nuking capabilities.

The thing with your build is that it only works on 1 hero. After that you generally render yourself useless. If you build clock as a DPS STR hero, your much better off getting more kills with wacking a guy to death. So my build would be:

Travel
Armlet
Satanic
BFly
BFury
AC

why do people have such an urge to build casters dps? yes, u can mass furies on him, but the problem is, he will have a horrible dps, even with all the dps items. think of him as a str version of NA. NA, for anyone still thinks that he is, isn't dps. his main attribute may be agility, but that doesnt matter, coz at the end of the day, hes still a caster. Why do i have to explain this in every thread? JUST COZ YOUR HERO HAS DAMAGE ITEMS, THAT DOESNT MEAN ANYTHING! you can make zeus 6 bashers, will that make him a perma-basher? NO!u can build a dps clockwerk, but that will be AN EPIC FAIL! SAY NO TO DPS CASTERS! when u saw clockwerk at first, did u think ' oh he has 4 active spells, maybe hes a dps hero'? i dont think so. what makes a hero a dpser? his abilities. can techies be a dpser if u mass hyperstones and relics? no. then why do u think clockwerk is a dpser? i dont understand to be honest.. its ok to make him a tank, but why dps??? thats like making.... ahhh, u get my point. no offense guys, but this comes up in every item build thread, and im just too tired of it

I agree He is NOT a dps hero!! he has a role in the game and its is not dps! Get him Support/Tank items! his attack speed is crap

I think it's an option, idk it's just an opinion. I've tried dps'ing on clock a few times and didn't do so bad. In my opinion, building a hero as a dps or a caster is completely up to your style of playing. Heroes like Earthshaker can be built as a int hero, but doesn't have to be. ES can have BFury or on the other hand can have guinsoo, euls, etc. How you play is how you build. You shouldn't limit yourself to just 1 build.
