He, and all demonhunters, sold their vision so that they can view demons more truly. Lets say they sold thier eyes so they can see demons better.

ok if u read the lore it says "demon hunters shunned by greater night elf society make countless sacrifices in addition to thier selfless pact with darkness they vow to use the demons very powers against them in order to rid them from the world, demon hunters ritually blind themselves to gain a spectral sight which allows them to see demons and the undead with greater clarity". there u have it

oooooooh. I didnt know that. If they have spectral vision, why does Illidan say I am not deaf, only blind? I used to think they were born blind.
