when i was like 8 i played the first resident evil game...you nemisis and it scared the #$%# out of me......but it was sick....what used to scare us i the past doesnt really scare us anymore i say......i played silent hill....it wasnt scary as resident evil was

w8 no the scariest game i ever played was hello kitty island adventure......they come with their smiles and flowers......and want to cheer u up....b4 u know they'll strangle u and take u to their hideout.......now thats scary

one (possibly) last thing. it might seem like a lie, but i found a certain part of kingdom hearts 2 frikking scary. i was like, 9 or 10... and i had to go into that train thingy..with the rumor of someone talking in it when noones there...i had to wait like 2 days until one of my cousins agreed to stay with me while i played. I felt really stupid when i finished the part....it was freakin Vivi!

Im an H.P. Lovecraft fan, so i pretty much test all the games that are based in his writtings. Call of Cthulhu is perfect and you know how scary it is. I like Scratches, too, its influenced a bit from Lovecraft and its scary enough to enjoy. Also try Condemned 2.
