spectre seems lousy?

ok this is when i play with ai not humans..find that ai spectre seems easier to pwn than other heroes even wierd heroes like pit lord also can pwn but that is ai :P so im asking is it the ai spectre thats dumb or spectre's no good at early game? but i tried with late game heroes like mortred and the ai was better with those o.O

I don't know, I've never played AI, but...
it's true, Spectre is absolutely rubbish early game. Probably even worse than PA.

pa has some spamable harassment early game, spectre has dagger of slow.

so yeah spectre is food early.

level 6 and things start looking up

The problem with AI's is that once their HP goes below 50% they retreat, missing out on valuable experience. So if you kept hitting that Spec, then she would have just tower hugged the whole early game...and therefore seemed crappy.

Spectre has trouble early game, but properly farmed, she's a monster.

AIs suck.

dude stop assessing a hero's potential by seeing ai, spec is one of the best late game heros but like all late heros she is food early on... and besides it depends heavily on the player

lol all AI's suck
1/2 hp and they either go heal or back to fountain
Doesn't matter what
As long as you don't feed or let them farm, you should pwn them easily.

Less emo now but still kinda upset. I wish I could do something about my guide. I don't want to fall into FFD's category of people who say they will make a guide and never follow through. Just rather discouraged right now.

Beginners need to play with Ai... if they play with real people all that is going to happen to them is getting yelled at. Therefore discouraging them.

I agree with flodian. All beginners definitely should play with ai for a while. Get to know the basics and stuff like that.
Talking about spectre. Like pa he's quite hard for beginners to play because you have to be very careful to not die and to keep last hitting.
But once spectre has farmed up with good enough items. He becomes a really really scary hero. XD

ppl who just started should play with AI...
get use to the maps, items, recipes, skills, secret shops, neutral creeps and stuffs..... give them a break.....

spectre is a late game hero...
early game u r very fragile...
so, try not to die early game and farm and u will do fine...

spec is kind of a hit-or-miss hero, if you get a bad start your ending will ussually be the same (unless youre a ks maniac) vica-verca
AI dosent know how to intelligently use specs combos that CAUSE the uberness so she really has nothing good going for her with the comp
