Fatal Errors and Anti-Virus

Specifically, McAfee anti-virus.

I was getting fatal errors and slow-downs about 2/3 of the games I played. I went through a bunch of crap, and finally uninstalled McAfee completely. This seems to have worked wonders.

Just thought I'd post it in case it helps anyone else.

Youre lucky.Anti-viruses always slow the computer but give protection.
Panda internet security-Ultimate protection (really)
BUT it SLOWS satanically.Ive had fatal errors even when i had to connect to the internet.Seems like viruses dont slow so much or give you fatal errors like the anti-whatever programs do.
