Can all judges (who haven't submitted scores already) work toward just straight scores like Dohyun has? afterwards you can chuck in the reasons but this way it's nice, quick and easy.

A bit hypocritical but i won't be able to get scores down for a while, huge work load at the moment

lower scores because i grade more realistically

punctuation IS grammar, lack thereof will lose you marks.
incorrect use of punctuation and capitals, also marks off.
having depth and a non existent plot will not make me ignore the shortcomings.

Well, unlike the other judges, I felt Rzfx's portrayal of themes wasn't very clear as compared to your's and Varun's story, which give the reader's a proper, meaningful message.(Btw check War_Wrecker's judging if you want harsh :P)

I wouldn't mind comments so that the entrants can know how they can improve. Though this is kinda hypocritical considering i've only submitted two scores :P i'll get around to it later.

For example i'd love justification on the 10 on plot of jocafer's story (no offence to Jocafer at all).

It's hard to look at scores and say ahh i can see why he gave him an 8. The criticism might help the writer even if it is just a sentence or two.

I think i'll finalise everything by mid-late march. I'll post the comments at the bottom of the story soon and then put the winning story on the start of the thread and summarise criticism for the other writers at the bottom of the post (the stories won't be there though).

I wasn't really aiming to win the contest, just trying out writing with depth so of course it wouldn't be as clear as others
