i got killed by a pa that crit me 5x in a row :*( such a sad moment that was..on a sidenote, the "20%" chance on maelstrom's chain lightning seems bogus when i buy 1. If im razor, i could attack like 20x and nothing pops out. That seems to be a fairly consistent pattern every game i get 1

5x in a row? Wow that guy must be extremely lucky. And lol as for the maelstrom... 20 times isn't possible lol. XD You must be abnormally unlucky. So then this must help you a lot. ^_^ Hit creeps more before you go for the heroes lol.

nice, read it at DAwiki too...
not really useful for Gameplay but really good for those curious about how the game works.
also shows that getting 1 lvl of Jug's blade dance at some lvl arent really useful in early gmae

Since I don't think it was very clear, what he meant with his "tip" about hiting creeps first was that you could wait for a few non-crits in a row so there would be a higher chance of getting the first crit. The usability in almost all situations is very limited though.
Nice instructive post, in short the system even things out faster than "true" randomness. Interesting perhaps if you're interested in game design but won't really improve your game at all.

Learned this in Stats AP. Probably one of the very few lessons I stayed awake for. My teacher was great, it was just the material that was boring.
I also program games so I know a lot about random number generators and the works.
