Short story depicting the death of Dragon Knight Davion.

This is the journal of Davion.
It was found near a bloodied corpse in the forest.
It tells of his last day of living.

Monday, 7 o'clock.
Just awake.
Kunkka told me there was something big going on today, something 'bout rushin the west tower or something.
Pretty cold this morning, theres something in the air, dunno what it is but, it's different..
Going to breakfast now, maybe I'll find out more about this tower-rush.

Monday, 9 o'clock.
Well seemed Kunkka was right.
The Treants are assembling for an assault on the west tower, and I am leading-I can't wait-we are heading out at 12 so I'm getting ready. Hopefully it won't be that well-guarded.
Damn spirit towers are deadly, spirit towers and a bunch of ghouls is a nightmare..

Monday, 11 o'clock.
One hour left, this could be my last entry.
Our scouts have reported that the tower is indeed well-protected by ghouls and a few champions of the scourge.
This isn't gonna be fun.
Good news is im not going in alone, I got that little ice woman and something called Enogma or Anigme, whatever it is I hope it can fight.

Monday, 12:30.
Wooh!
What a battle.
There has been a pause in combat for some reason, but I ain't complaining. I got wacked by some huge purple things glaive. I can't say it was at all welcome.
We only fought for 20 minutes but what a 20 minutes they were.
So many dead, I hope I don't join them.

Monday, 16:00.
At last.
It's over.
We took that damn tower down and took victory over the ghouls. That strange black creature which I now know as Enigma sure knows how to kill a bunch of ghouls!
The ice maiden didn't fight too well.
I managed to get some vengeance against that 'Pit Lord' too.
He won't be getting back up thats for sure, his little wings couldn't carry him far enough to escape my blade.

Monday, 19:00.
So we finished clearing up the bodies and I am heading back now, I got a strange feeling, like I am being watched...
Before I go back to base I need to got to that little freak round in the forest.
He said he got something new for me, as long as I got the coin..

Monday, 20:00.
Ok. Now I know I am not being paranoid.
I saw something peak at me from the trees.
I only got a glimpse at it but it had red eyes.
Pretty scary.
I'm at the middle path now.
Hiding by the tree.
I am too tired to fight.
Need to wait it out.
Maybe this thing will leave me alone.

Monday, 22:00.
It must be gone by now, I have been here for a few hours talking to this damn tree. He thinks I am interested in what he has to say, but hell if he kept me alive all this time, I guess I should show some respect.
I'm heading back to base now, hopefully alone.

-Something...something got me.
I don't know what it was.
Came so fast, next thing I know, blood was pouring out.
I am in agony. I can't fight, and the more I move the worse the pain and the more blood leaks out.
Whatever done this to me is still there..In the trees, watching me, with those horrible red eyes...

-Still there.
Still watching me.
Still bleeding.
Only thing I can do is write this.
Maybe a patrol will see me, or maybe I will die.
Who knows?

-How many hours?
Two? Three? More?
I have decided I can't wait it out.
I need to move, return to base, maybe they can fix me up.
But it's still there.
If I move, I bleed, if I stay I go insane.
I pick go.

I can crawl very very slowly.
My strength is returning, I can feel it.
But still I bleed.
I came across a flask of healing water.
So at least I can move and write again.
But for how long?
I am going to take a chance.
I am gonna walk.
I can't see myself surviving this.

movement....too much blood..red eyes watching....me hunting me...dropped my sword....and shield..the only thing I can do..is write..takes my mind off the pain..so much blood..
I knew....I should have...been a farmer...
