Same situation with Wes Borland when he played for Limp Bizkit xD
Shame, that band sucked so hard.

But ya i agree, lyrically its... bad.

As i said above, instruments are very important to me, maybe more so than lyrics (see my love for Bullet for my Valentine, i will be the first to admit that their lyrics are pretty average)
*sigh* Li is such a FREAK. how do okes get that good? *shrug*

i used to listen to some metal but it lost appeal. i continue to listen to linkin park though, cuz i find their lyrics and music unique and good, and ya they are classified as nu-metal band, so they are metal...........

Btw, Whats the point of being emo? Or a 14 year old kid with the rapper cap who listens to Green Day and hangs out everyday with his stupid looking friends calling other ppl fat/stupid/gay etc?

OMFG, it's a became a fking mess lately, when you go in to a supermarket, you see those damn caps that cost 50E each and then you buy it and don't know a shit about mausic? rap sucks

I personally am a Christian, but metal music is a big love. So as long as its not blatant in your face Devil worship and it's good music, im on it.

@punk_dude13 tx man i knew Demon Hunter was Christian, but i haven't heard Treason or Inhale Exhale. Ill be looking them up, much respect bruv!

I love to listen to Metal Rock too but I also like Simple Plan.

I mean everyone has different taste in music so why criticise. Music is an extension of one's personality. No need to criticise.

( I listen to all genres those, from pop to rock to RNB to metal to blues, classical, reggae, opera, name it...)

Anyway, I haven't listened to any of the bands Mortal Tree has listed but I'll try it.


When I hear metal, the first time that comes into my mind are those bands that mynd just said: Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, iron maiden, metallica, etc.

One by Metallica is one of my all time favorites.

I also like grunge also like nirvana, pearl jam, stone temple pilots, smashing pumpkins

No offense to those new bands out there but those all time greats are still that...

All time greats...
