There is a way. The next time you’re alone in your room, turn down the lights. Don't turn them off, just dim them.
Think of something on your body that varies in length, such as hair. It must be clearly viewable from your perspective. Grab a ruler and, looking in the mirror, quickly grab a hair at random. Hold it in position as best you can and note the length. Look down. Yours will be different.
Don’t look back up.
Don’t turn your back to that mirror ever again.
Go back to DS.
Something should be different.

Actually, there is another way. First, when its night, get off your bed, wear a long, white dress and grab a banana. Then get out of your house and go to your neighbour's. Knock the door and put the banana in the first person's mouth that opens the door. Then start running while singing loudly Rick Astley's "Never gonna give you up". If the cops dont capture you, return to your bed and crap your pillow. Then sleep on it. The next day open DS and...something should be different...
