DotA Theory - Brain Training Scenarios

Hey everyone, after some people asking me to "make it into a series" I have decided to after all...

WELCOME TO DOTA BRAIN TRAINING!

I'm your host Killas900 and I'll be posting up a whole bunch of DotA related questions...

These are scenarios that I have either played before or can think of in the top of my head...

While some of these are REALLY freakin' obvious to some of you guys (GaNkStA), they might not be to others.. E.G the Vengeful Spirit one... (Linky here: DotA Theory - Vengeful Scenario )

So I've got a new one for you guys...
The first of this so far...

3 v 3

Sentinel

Meh! - Pugna, the Oblivion
pl0x56 - Jah'Rakal, the Troll Warlord
AbdA - Strygwyr, the Bloodseeker

Scourge

GOLDbow - Zeus, the God of Lightning
forgot name... - Rikimaru, the Stealth Assassin
SILVERbow - Faceless Void, the Faceless Void (Does he have a name?)

So here goes...
After destroying the second middle tower, we realise that the Scourge had been Roshin' and we should run like hell. AbdA, the retard, stupidly ran out into the forest and almost died from Zeus who was nearly 4 levels above us. (Lvl 13)

He BARELY regrouped with us, Troll slowed down to place a ward so we could see if riki was comin' up.
He was.
Riki retardedly attacked troll, at this stage im thinkin' f**k it, I don't wanna lose my aghanims money, so im just running back as fast as that bag of bones can. But... Void comes out... by now, Bloodseeker and Troll have killed Riki and bloodrage has worn off Zeus and he is coming down from the forest.

Void chronospheres them, hopin' to get all three of us.. However, I managed to escape the AoE... (W00T!)

What do I do at this stage?

A) Run away screaming
B) Try to help

If you answered A to the following question, then you are NOT a team player.

If you answered B, you are correct!

But the question is this:
How do I help?

I know this is easy, but this is only the first question of (hopefully) many...

Sadly, I still haven't fixed my WC3 so I'm reduced to using pathetic 5 minute paint-job...

So...

Lets recap.
My teammates are skrewed. Void is owning them, Zeus is going to join in on the fun in like... 3 seconds.
There is a way to save atleast 1 of my allies...

-EXTRA FOR EXPERTS-

There is a way to not only save my allies, but also possibly get 1 or 2 kills... How would I do it?

Go figure. :P

-EXTRA INFORMATION-

Netherblast Cooldown = None//Ready
Decrepify Cooldown = None//Ready
Nether Ward Cooldown = None//Ready
Life Drain Cooldown = None//Ready
Chronosphere life time = 4 more seconds.
Bloodseeker's life = 120 HP left.
Zeus' Life = 200 HP left.
Troll's Life = 530 HP left.
Red Herrings? = Yup!
Zeus' Visible? = Yep! (Standing on the edge of the ward's limited Sight range)
HELPFUL ITEMS?
Dagon (Level 2)

use decripify on void place a nether ward right there so his mana would quickly go down. and go up to where zeus will be coming and use nether blast their. zeus would be dead and void would be useless untill chronosphere is gone. After killing zeus use your ultimate on void.

O crud... made Zeus' mana pool too small...
I should start putting figures in...
Well, Zeus actually has 200 mana which is more than enough to kill Bloodseeker...

Good logical thinking on crepping Void, that is the correct answer :P
But the blast is slightly wasted...
And you could continue the push in a blood bath of glory...

true but nether ward has a range of 1600 or so. so zeus's mana would be too low to cast lightning bolt. and I don't think arc lightning would kill him. and when I meant use the nether blast there. i meant to put it in front of zeus. not right on zeus cause your going to miss. since nether blast has a channeling of around .25-.5 seconds.

I would have decrepd void aswell, blasted him, warded, depening on howm uch hp void was left on lifesteal zues or void.. most likely void as zues would cancel with his lighning and just run away as void wouldnt want to waste ulti.

Decrepify Void, then dagon Zeus, after that netherblast at Void, then you life drain and Bloodseeker casts rupture, so either way, Void dies.

I know what you mean, but don't forget that your allies arn't just gonna stand there... If you get what I mean.

I'm trying to hint you but not give it away :P
And well, it all comes down to insane time management in the end, you gotta decrepify Void, plant a Ward and possibly Blast Zeus before he gets within 600 range to cast lightning...

decrepify faceless void, dagon zeus,(dagon is instant and casting range is longer!!!)nether blast faceless void and life drain him....after the decrepify + blast combo he would left around half life,there he will choose to fight or to run....

Heh.

Decrepify Void and blasting him is the right answer, but you gotta remember all of Pugna's spells have a small minute casting time or delay, and this comes in effect when Zeus is very close to killing Bloodseeker, but remember, Dagon is a VERY usefull item in this Scenario...
And Void has already casted his ulti :P
But EVERYTHING comes into effect here, so not only consider Pugna's abilities, but Void's and your teammates too...

I'd agree with this guy... The above is the best option.

Void is next to strygwyr and attacking, so first priority must be to disable void, obviously with decrepify.

Second threat is that zeus will bolt him in a split second. Based on my interpretation of the picture, there is no time to nether blast, because of the casting delay, so as almost everyone said, dagon zeus.

When ulti runs out, strygwyr bloodrage void to prevent time walk and rupture.

Decrepified Void, Slapped down the ward, Blasted Void and Dagon'ed him too (lightning is 135 mana, meaning it's enough to kill him. Or take all of his mana away.) Life drain not needed.

I like your ideas guys, and so far you guys are pretty smart :P

Good idea, but your focusing too much on void, all you really need to do is disable him to take out the more immediate threats, I.E Zeus.

Nice idea... but Void can just tunnel away while he is decrepified... but all really just falls down to how fast they can think...
So yeah..

This is how I would do this scenario.

First, Decrepify Void, now you can either just hurry and dagon Zeus, or you can blast. If you blast, you might be cutting it pretty damn fine but I reckon you would be able to get Zeus while he was in mid casting animation, if not, they just dagon dat biatch.

If Void hasn't already tunneled away, then just drain him, if he is a nub or a retard he will attempt to run. By now chronosphere should have run out and bloodseeker should quickly bloodrage Void and Pugna and his teammates should let bloodseeker get the kill, unless your a sad bastard and use the dagon you didn't blast Zeus with to KS. :P

And you continue pushing and win the match...

Well, I'm pretty tired now so I'm hoppin' off the PC and I'll put some more up tommorrow, and, if you have any saved replays of anything with strokes of PURE GENIUS or something awesome and possible to be made into a Brain Training Scenario, please send me the replay via email.
