Are early game stat items really worth it?

Its extremely important for some heroes, especially since I often play non-int nukers I know this, for example, Tiny. Early game, he has a teeny mana pool, enough only for a Toss or Ava at one go. But with a Null, you solve this problem totally, allowing you to execute your insanely painful combo at levels 2-3 onwards. Really important for these types of people, who just need that little extra kick to their mana/health pool.

Old thread. Again... diffrent person but still old thread don't dig up. And yes stats items are good. 5 gg branch but you can't buy a tele scroll and other stuff. That you might need.

yeah it is important, helps u on last hitting, hp/mp pool etc. i usually get circlets or just gg branches

Early game I always buy Empty bottle for most heroes. For some I buy Ring of Basillus.

those stat thingy are important, to add ur survival chance to hav a nice early game, tho i didnt buy stat items for evry hero i played.

Main thing is that bracers nulls and wraiths are cheap compared to higher tier stat items:

E.g.
1 null + 1 wraith + 1 bracer costs:
510 + 485 + 460 = 1455 gp
And give +12 all attributes

Ultimate orb costs:
2100 gp
And gives +10 all attributes.

Secondly stats make a much more noticeable difference in early game, which is why it is beneficial to get them as early as possible.

But it also depends on the situation. If you are a fragile hero and you are up against a zeus, you might need a few early bracers to be able to survive his combo. If, however you are laning against someone without a nuke, you might not need them. E.g. I recently played a pub game where i was viper in middle, and my lane enemy was harby... Harby couldnt do anything, so I could farm BoT asap without getting bracers or wraiths.

4 Wraiths costs 1840 gold and gives + 24agi/12str/12Int
1 Ultimate orb costs 2100 gold and gives +10 all stats.

With boots of choice you still have 1 slot for your first big item and massive early game advantage bought very cheaply.

1/2 gold is refunded when you sell a wraith and other half is the cost of leasing your precious inventory space for this early gain.
