Hi!
Introduction
I'm here to talk about the proper use of Glyph of Fortification. They say that you must use Glyph only in the third tower. That is a hoax. Remember that Glyph has a cooldown that still is manageable. We will discuss about the helps and the proper usage of the glyph which is now, as I saw in some, being abused or used wrongly.
What is Glyph of Fortification and What does it do?
Price: 0
Effect: Gives a massive armor bonus to structures
Cooldown: 5 minutes
Where can it found?
IT can be found at your own Circle of Power
What does it do?
As what the description said. It gives armor bonus to structures like:
Towers/Tree of Life/Frozen Throne
To Barracks
Fountains
Importance of The Glyph Time
The glyph time is the time where the armor bonus is still in the structure. This time is 4 seconds. These are they animations:
Discussion
History
In the old days of DotA the only thing that can give armor bonus to towers is Town Portals thus the TP stacking risen. TP stacking is a gameplay where all 5 players save their towers by stacking TP after each other to prolong the life of towers in the use of the massive bonus armor it gives when TP is directly casted on the tower. But, because of the mighty hand of Icefrog, all was changed. He changed the massive armor bonus to towers by adding the Glyph of Fortification! This, somewhat, disappointed league players. It removed the massive armor bonus to TPs when directly casted. Icefrog thought of another way to make them happy and added to the change that there can be a mass TP in one tower. This do not need the direct cast to a structure. This make the defending of towers easier.
Strategy
I will many sections here so be sure to read this. Remember that you must always TP stack when one tower is getting a beat to not make the fortification worthless. There is a given 4 seconds to make the tower invulnerable to physical attacks so Mass TP within that crucial seconds. This can make you deny towers in a right time you want it. Also try to shift queuing to make your lives easier.
First Towers
They say that this towers are worthless and shouldn't be wasted but NO. This towers are important and it can access to the enemy terrain easily.. Since first towers regularly survives in the first 10-25 minutes of the game, try to defend it regularly. Cast glyph of fortification when the life of the tower is only half or 1/4. Mass TP to it.
Second Towers
These towers are crucial. Most of the time when the second tower is destroyed, enemies will destroy or try to damage the third tower which is scary. As what I've said earlier. TP in the 1/2 or 1/4 left of its life.
Third Towers
There are two choices for this tower. 1: Do not fortify it or 2: fortify it. Why not fortify it for the 1st choice? When you see that the tower can easily be destroyed by the enemy.You can reserve the fortification for the barracks to make defend them because most of the time the mid tower is destroyed and the it was fortified. Why yes? When the hp is still high or when you can still defeat the enemies to preserve the tower. JUST REMEMBER: THESE TOWERS ARE CRUCIAL MASS TP TO IT WHEN CHOOSIN EITHER OF THE TWO OPTIONS I GAVE YOU.
Last Towers
Probably, if there is still glyph of it. Why not cast it when many heroes are there? Not just when there are creeps since you can still drag them to the fountain. Reserve the glyph for this when all of the towers and barracks are beaten down.
Worst Case Scenario
The worst case scenarios is this: two towers are getting beaten down at a crucial hp at the same time. What would you do? Use glyph! Then next?? Divide your team to each of that towers to make the use of the glyph better than just TPing in just one tower.
Common Mistakes
Most common mistakes occurs when the team does not Mass TP to the tower when the glyph is casted. Other thing is that they cast it when the hp is still in 90% which can be bad.
End Words

you should mention using Glyph to save the tower so you can tp to it and then deny it
and not directly related to the glyph, but you could mention shift queuing actions so immediately after you tp you will perform the action
