I'm so pissed.

I got invited to the LoL beta.

And I can't download it because the computer I'm using in Australia is a work computer, therefore not allowed to download stuff onto it (Duh.)

So 6 weeks of web-browsing.

I'm going to die ;/

yup. they use the K2 engine

Anyways, the DBG genre will be very exciting late this year and early next year with the release of 2 DBG titles (HON and LOL)

Give one to me so I can weather there actualy is something different than DotA in it(although I doubt it....). I will return it in 2 day tops(since I will probably get bored of it by then)

Calling it DBG is right. Because HoN is just a game based of of DotA, not its own game....

but dota is based on another game.
see the pointlessness of it all?

MOBA or MORBA are Multiplayer Online (Roleplaying) Battle Arenas.
as per my blog post on the subject.
DBG is stupid.

Yeah, I know, DotA is based on the Aeon of Strife map from starcraft. And all(mainly WC3) maps based on it were called AoS maps. But most people don't know that. Just let it be Ghost, you cannot convince them. You cannot fight this war on your own...

Throw me a beta key as well, LoL servers are only up during the weekends and I don't have WCIII attached to my Battle.Net account so I can't download it, so I'd like to have another MOBA to play and this doesn't look bad at all, albeit a LOT like DotA.

Well I haven't actually played it yet.

I don't have my computer on weekends, but I'm a day ahead so..

saturday = sunday
sunday = monday

Only on Monday ;/

How's LoL gameplay-wise so far?

I've been watching youtube videos and doing research, and even though its basically DotA it looks great, almost like BattleForge-styled art direction.

DBG does not make sense.
I have explained this several times.

What is DotA?
DotA is an AoS style custom map on WC3
What is Aos?
It's like DotA
What's DotA?
