^Word man!

I tested Demigod, it was clearly a fail but at least it was not a simple DotA clone. HoN is just Ultra Epic Fail. I mean it's like making a Counter Strike clone with same weapons/Maps but changing their names or like making a game exactly like Starcarft and renaming it to Moonwars or somethings. Just ridicilious and they should really get sued imo..

Unfortunatly, Icefrog gave them premmision to do it. Probably trying to cash in. Poor guy...

they havent copyed the map, theres 2 in the beta and they are set for 6 in the full game.

Its easy money, if you guys had a chance to make a few quick million im sure you all would.

im honestly surprised at all the hatred on HoN. ive been a dota player for 5-6 years now and i welcome these new dbg/moba games (at least hon and lol with euls and guinsoo).
i think its great that they can spice up graphics add new heroes, make recipe buying better, etc. havent played the beta ive only seen some youtube clips admittedly. i mean to people who just rage at the fact that its a "blatant copy," (which i highly doubt it is, i really think they will at least do some stats like lol leaver tracking n such) did the game ever claim to be more? the hon makers probably just wanted to make dota a bit more new age and crisp.

if anyway has and extra HoN beta key id love to try out the game so i can confirm/deny my suspicions and thoughts.

Lol why did you raise your own thread from the dead?

W/e author is free to do what he wants with his thread.

I saw the Razor port, and the Plasma Field used in HoN kinda messes up my eyes. Shockwave things in the ground ftw!

As for Panda, I still like the Dota panda better, all because of his good quotes, ale, and ability to split.

this thing still on?
dota is on 6.65 soon, and those games are on 1.1(insert random number)
dota is and will be like hundred steps in front of those games with balance and playability, and GAMEPLAY > graphics...
so why even bother discussing about people who try to get $_$ for copy/pasta
