Does Blademail return Counter Helix?
Posted on Tue Jul 07, 2009 3:32 amI was playing 1v1 Me (QoP) vs AI (Axe) earlier and I got Blade Mail to use against him. When he Counter Helix'd I dont think the damage was returned.. can anyone confirm/deny?
If it doesn't, what works best against him with QoP?

it not damage return from counter helix , normal attack will returned damage ...

Sorry just to clarify, I meant... when Axe got near me and his Counter Helix' proc'd, I would pop Blade Mail... I dont think he received dmg return to himself. Does Blade Mail return Counter Helix dmg to Axe?

it wouldn't work if you activated blade mail AFTER the helix hit you -.-
Blade mail returns ALL damage (or so it says in the tooltip) so that includes attacks, spells, and anything else that would deal damage.

It would still hurt you, but if you used it after he hit you with it it will not return the damage, it only works for the damage dealt atm

Oh, what happened if used ulti on a low hp hero that has blademail active ? Since his ulti deals "infinit" damage when you are under the hp limit to kill. Would he take infinit to?

Axe's ulti doesn't do damage when the target is below the hp limit, it just kills the target. I base this on the fact that Culling blade can kill a 400hp Abaddon with Borrowed Time on. So if you have blade mail on while Axe uses ulti on you, I think Axe doesn't take any damage.

The helix will be reflected,if timed properly,culling blade wont be reflected

Culling blade purges all effects from the target before it actually activates.
And I'm sure Helix is reflected.

guys, im really sure that culling blade is just a trigger saying kills unit.
its really much easier to program this trigger then to make it to 100000000000 dmg and remove all buffs before that. also doing it the way i say is acutally also cleaner, preventing laggs

dont argue with vins..... culling DOES deal huge dmg.... he prolly did that just to be like a "did u kno..." kinda thing.... or just to have fun with making the map... who knos...
