Lifesteal and Doom

I was playing with a guy who requested that Doom Bringer "Doom" him. He had an item that had a lifesteal effect, and he wanted to experiment if the lifesteal would do anything if he was doomed. would anybody know the answer to this?

I guess Lifesteal won't work when doomed. I can't recall when I used LS and got doomed and I died from doom, but I managed to kill DB. I can't recall the things that happened... Sorry if this is wrong Sad

No, I think lifesteal works... Its only spells that are stopped I think (silence)... Effects are still enabled...

Yes. Doom can cancel some item abilities like lifesteal, criticals, etc.

However, if it is an innate skill, it can't.

Doom is a very, VERY special kind of silence ability. It prevents some item skills and abilities.

Reincarnation works, however, as you are already dead before it triggers, meaning that doom isn't there anymore.

hmm...but if i use drow/krob and silence SK before he des doesn´t reincarniation trigger right, he dies...why not with doom, i see that the dmg go of when he die but why does the silence?
