some people says ancient tango always saves butt...
yes cheap but... it'l took you so long to recover...
175 hit points for 20 seconds or something... if you already ated one you should wait for 20 seconds because it does not stack twice or even how many trees you eat.

some says flask of saphire water and clarity potions are much better...
400 hitpoints for 20 seconds or something.. / clarity 100 mana for 20 seconds or something... both dispells on attack. bah! and after you consumed it? say bye bye to your gold...

in a one on one encounter... your are granted 3k+ gold...
well... in that case.. u can afford to buy...
tadaan... "the empty bottle" 200hit points and 100 mana for 3 seconds! woshooo thats fast!! uhmm wait!!!... doesnt it cointain only 3 charges?? then should be charged up again at the fountain??
luckily... tadaan!!! "the crow" is there!! woshoo...
just give your "empty bottle" to the crow and let it fetch water from the fountain...
crow costs - 925
empty bottle costs - 700
all in all - 1,625



okay okay... ill anticipate your questions..

1. icy how can i use the "empty bottle"??
-> when its in your inventory simply left click it...
2. icy how can i fill it up?
-> left click the "empty bottle" on inventory and a crosshair will appear and left click the crosshair on the fountain...
3. isnt 1,625 too much expensive for a healing item and a courier??
-> uhm... 1,625 gold is way too cheap for unlimited health and mana, lol... its like carying the fountain with you...
4. icy why does the crow be involved? why not just the hero charge it himself?
-> if a hero leaves a lane...
*it looses gold => no sturdy items! => defeat!
*it looses exp => delayed on lvl up => defeat!
whereas if you can manage to have a crow, just let it refil the "empty bottle" for you and give it back for you to consume it..
5. icy why not just use chicken to fetch it back?
-> "empty bottle" for it to be charged.. needs mana...
chikens - no mana low HP, slow movement rate
crow - has proper mana to restore and charge the "empty bottle", fast with the burst ability... 150 Hitpoints...

well thats all... hope it helps... i only recomend this on one on one battle... but if you want you can use it in every game if u have some spare of gold...

Why will you get consumables then?

I always get Boots, chicken, couple of nulls/bracers/bands and Ring of Health. That's enough regen for me.

Oh yeah. I'd rather get Flasks in one-on-one than tangos.

It sounds okay, but IMO, the chicken is the best choice to bring Flasks. I'm not really a fan of the Empty Bottle. Saves a lot of money that can be made for low-level items such as Bracers/Wraiths/Nulls. Starting out with a Boots of Speed and 5 Bracers, together with a Chicken with 2 Flasks, provides a signifacnt advantage in the early game.

uhm IMHO, when you got the crow and the empty bottle, you will even not need it any more.
Well recovery items are usually needed early game only, while mid game you don't need it any longer since you will farming at forest or neat your base and that will not so bad to go back to fountain in mid game. Late game you will absolutely not need any regen such like that and the crow is really to expansive. May be bottle with chicken is enough.
A few tango is enough I think... Or RoR or clarity....
That's just my opinion................
