July Voting
Ten entrants and my first round of eliminations only got me down to eight. These ideas are getting very good! Keep up the excellent work!

Painstaking as it was, I have processed the list down to four again:

August Challenge

Shiny! Shiny!! This month's theme is Gemstones . Your heroes must have some kind of affinity for them. I'll leave the rest up to you - I see a lot of options though, I have a feeling this will be fun.

** For the purposes of this challenge, "gemstones" can include materials such as obsidian which, while not actually gemstones, can be found in similar quality - ie they look cool and shiny. Ah what the hell, anything that can be CONFUSED for a gemstone, make it easier. (And yes I picked obsidian as the example because it has an existing hero, no more hints!)

Hm...the theme is quite an open one. They are becoming more and more free with every chalenge...no more strict ones like the one with the slug...

Gemstones. I think the challenge here will be to create something new... something that hasn't been played out numerous amounts of times...

some questions.....
theme - it's gemstone. does it only counts as one gemstone (only diamond, emerald, etc.) or could it be more than one gemstone in one hero? like it have ruby and sapphire in it?
hero - can I just re-theme my previous hero idea to enter this one?

Multiple gems are allowed, if you must. But I really would rather you made a new hero for this, re-making one you just used is sort of lame...

Not to mention that if you do and I recognize it then I can just ignore it in my selection of the top four (or at least mark it down).

the thing about my strict ones is that they are to challenging for newbies.
I can only think of 5 or so hero makers EVER that could make a decent original slug.
