Best anti-ganker in your oppinion

anti ganker is actually someone who can turn the tide in a particular gank NOT someone who can escape a gank,

WW and blinker..yes they can escape and come back with help to fight but the solo heroes who can take on gankers would be

1. Earthshaker (WITH WARDS AROUND) if he doesnt have any one stun he is toast..if he sees where they are coming he can either fissure and escape or use his skills which hurt real real bad

2. Magnus with mask of madness and battlefury you get ganked use your ulti turn MoM on and just wack away you can fend a gang off this way.

3.Panda,well you become three even more annoying pandas and own the gankers,its been done,i saw a video in youtube:)(NOTE YOU MUST BE GOOD WITH HIM TO PULL THIS OFF =)) )

also, naga siren isnt hard to gank if you know how. ive seen such maneuvers against puck. all you need is 2 disables

no no no techies is da best place some mines or statis traps in openings from where you could get ganked ^^ but i dont think someone will do this coz they will mine the wards or cliffs or other places

I just played a game, and it reminded me of this post. I was using Lich(it was during earlymid game, lvl9), and Drow and Windrunner came to gank me. First WR did her stun, and drow silenced me. I pressed Phase boot and started running away from the creeps (where only 3 of us were around, and I used ulti on both of them. Gotta a double kill.

I've never used map hack so I don't know how it works and how it helps? Does it tell you where everyone is?

But yes, I have to agree that Phantom Lancer is pretty darn good at "anti-gank". With good timing with Phantom Lancer, I've made people use everything they got on my Dopplewalk image(void chrono, enigma ulti, huskar ulti, etc). Even during league games, Phantom Lancer is still a very good anti-ganker. However, you need to controll your dopplewalk image like you would control your real one(microing). They will be confused on when to press dust.
This one time during a league game, I was PL, and Nevermore, Alchemist, warlock came to gank me while i was jungling(they had well placed wards). Alche got his 5 second stun, and they beat me up until 30%!! I knew Warlock had a dust, so I just ran. They thought they anticipated my move by thinking I would dopplewalk straight away and pressed dust as soon as I started running. Nothing happened. I got my chance and as soon as they pressed dust I dopple walked(I placed a ward right before I dopplewalked). Healed my self with a salve, came back with allies and ganked them back.

Puck with dagger and some teammates are anti-anti-gank to almost all the heroes mentioned. ES with dagger and teammates too. Maybe I should create an anti-anti-ANTI-gank thread to know who counters the anti-anti-gank. But wait, then there's gonna HAVE to be an anti-anti-anti-anti-gank thread.
Srsly, what cf[x] said earlier is true. What u need to counter ganks is IQ and TP's. Doesnt matter which hero u are using if u have half a brain and the rest of ur team share same mental disorder. Dont walk too far into enemy territory, at least not without backup. Get wards in spots where u have a good overview of the lake and the paths gankers most commonly go. And have your team have TP's so u can countergank if the wards fail.

morph or puck who can hide in trees with their blink nukes and other heroes like them i was 100 hp in a game and blink nuked out the map and killed a lycan is wolf form cause he kept trying to get into the trees

Best anti-ganker in my opinion is someone that can take a shitload of punishment and show no signs of pain. Bristleback is my preferred anti-ganker since he is best when on the run. Enemies can unleash all sorts of spells and punishment to his backside as he runs and he shrugs it off. Plus his speed bonus from quills or goo to slow down enemies makes him difficult to chase.

I love using morph and maxing out strength when they are chasing + waveform and if you are really good at micro you can replicate and try to block the enemy heros

In my opinion... Naga siren's ulti can easiily save u from getting ganked like a . . . ahem ahem.. cant put it in a sophisticated way :P...
