questions for photoshopper!

how could I check the size of the thing we are working on? cause in here sigs and avatars have limitation size and everytime I made one for avatar it always says "your avatar size is more than 41 kb"
pls help me!!

after done editing your work,right click the file and click properties.the it should say size

While you are actually working on it in Photoshop, go to: Image > Image Size... (Or simply press Alt + Ctrl + I) and you will see the dimensions and the file size (mb, kb, etc.)

Go to lunapic.com/editor and scale the size of your avatar there. When you're done, download and save the pic and then chick it's size. First of all, make sure it falls under the below 150 width 160 height lines, if it's still over 41 KB, rescale until it falls below 41 KB.

and one more question! where do I upload it? when I try on imageshack it always fails and when I'm trying it again it's unreadeable. how could that be? (and can photoshop files turned into .jpg or sumting?)

Uh get a photobucket? That's what I use and it never fails me. Also it has to be a jpg in order to upload here.

NEVER USE PHOTOBUCKET!!! It deletes the image after some time and replaces it with this

I had the same problem. What you do is, click save as... and chose a destination. Near the bottom of the pop up there is something that says "File Name". Right under it there is something that says "Format".

Change the format to "CompuServe GIF" then save it. You can now put it on ImageShack

WARNING: If you save it as a GIF all the layers will be merged so make a back-up copy using PSD format in case!
