Problem on Friend's PC

So, I left my friend's PC on overnight just before the 1.24 patch required you to update before entering B.net, so I was there, probably one of the few people who haven't patched yet... Went and patched it, downloaded dota 6.61c, and guess what?

Since the new patch, the Downloads folder magically dissappeared to wherever... Even though all the maps could be loaded inside WC3 there was no DL folder, so I had to go and Download DotA from my Laptop through Lan, which was updated but the Downloads folder was still there.

(I tried creating a DL folder, diddnt work)

Lol, anyone know what coulda caused this?

well, we solved it, but still annoying I have to go and DL it from hosts (takes liek 5 hours to find one that will let you) every time a new dota version is out
