Price: 4800 gold

Description:
Once belonging to the Queen of Shadows, Maeve, this key has long since been forgotten. Its power often underestimated, it can plunge you into the queens own sanctuary, the realm of shadows.

Requires:
Ghost Scepter (1500 gold)
Soul Booster (3300 gold)

Gives:

regenerates 1% of maximum mana each second
+450 HP
+400 Mana
+3 HP regen/second
+10 to all attributes
+Ability: Open Portal



Open Portal:

Pulls you into the realm of shadows for 10 seconds.

while in the realm of shadows you:

• can NOT be attacked by enemy units.
  
• can NOT be affected by outside spells.
  
• can NOT attack.
  
• CAN cast spells on the outside world.
  
• CAN attack others in the shadow realm.
  
• CAN cast spells on others in the shadow realm.
  

While in the shadow realm, you take an additional 40% damage from spells and your own spells do an additional 10% damage.

COOLDOWN - 30
MANACOST - 140

why don't you just change it to dimensions scepter or something. (coz' it has a ghost scepter in it) but that's just a suggestions. (please don't kill me)

but battlefury doesn't have a hammer in it.
and RoB doesn't have a mask.

the taking an enemy in as well would make this instantly useless.

So while in the shadow realm you can not be affected by outside spell but yet u take 40% more damage from spell? o_O

correct, because if someone else gets the same item, they can enter the shadow realm.
this then puts you at a disadvantage.

and aid spell casting while protecting you from physical DPS and spell damage.
but the instant the enemy gets this item, the protection is largely gone - more importantly, you loose the protection from permabashers (and others) and also suffer the nasty fate of taking 40% + 10% (from the amplified spell damage they get for being in the shadow realm)

this makes you take.. 126.5% damage from spells (instead of the regular 25%)

It's basically a BKB for casters.

Feel free to nuke the hell out of people with bonus damage. How would they counter it? Spend 4800 gold themselves.

infinitely better than a Lothars rush... but it does cost an additional 1400.
a quick forum search will reveal that the Queen of Shadows, Maeve, is a hero that I made, she has a similar ability. In theory she would also instant counter the item.

@blarfles
spending 4800 is a small price to pay, 80% of INT heroes will be getting this as a core anyway.


the main reason for the high cost is that soulbooster can only be made into 1 item and is useless on its own, needed a buff.
and ghost sceptre sucks.
so I made it useful.
