Idea to make dream forums to be more active

Now, as you know, dream heroes and dream items section is pretty much inactive. Not like how it is supposed to be, when in the past, in one day there could be many posts not just one. So, my suggestion is:
- In the frontpage, there's the hero ideas part right? Why don't make the dream heroes recent posts under it? So, visitors and users might look at the dream heroes section and comments on some. And preferrably make one. But to make this succesful , it's pretty hard. It needs co-operation from all mods and users, so they will be more interested in these sections. And I know one big obstacle in doing this. "what if the hero idea is terrible? And all of its comments is only flames and such?" . And, we need another co-operation from users, so they might not flame the whole time. Because this will make other users feel uneasy and might think negatively about the forums.
- Do the same thing to the dream items section which is now dying and dying.

So? What do you think people? This is just a suggestion from a simple guy that wants to make thi site better. Sorry if I reposted or put it in the wrong section

It actually may helps a lot. Many visitors here usually come because "whoa! they have a hero idea! cool!" and if we put some posts from dream heroes, it will attract the even more

Well ppl who are interested just go to the thread. Ppl who aren't just avoid it. So even if we put the newest dream item/dream hero. and ppl who aren't interested sees it. They won't really care much about it right.

Yeah no one seems to care about the dream heroes section because it's not exactly.. "dota" to be precise. Yup I think it would be sorta a good idea putting out notifications showing a new hero idea or something.. It'll be cool looking if the dream heroes section was like how the strategy guides were displayed. How I see it, people tend to put in too much hard work for the dream heroes section without getting much approval

that's exactly what I am hoping for, too.
I would furthermore suggest to either display recent dreamhero and items changes at the home part of this map, or delete the appearence of etcetera topics...

because, if an "UBE" thread or an "I had a wierd dream" thread deserves to be at the front page, than a complex Hero idea or an Item wish deserves that to.

(I know, this is a necro post, but 8 votes is not THAT much of a statement, is it? and I think, this is a question relevant to EVERY DS member.)

I think someone should write a guide to writing hero ideas since quite a few of the past ideas have been getting quite... complicated? Strange?
