Also you have to deal with certain forums dying. It's a cycle of life if you want to call like that. After a while it will be active again. Creating a separate recent posts section from "Dream Heroes" on the home page might not be such a good idea, because newcomers might take this as a Dota Fantasy site. For a innactive forum, there are alot of hero ideas pending...

Make it so that dream items/heroes also appear on the front page.

But to avoid confusion, the front page should also indicate the forum section that the thread is in. I don't want people complaining about an item that doesnt exist and mistake its a part of something else.

...just kidding.

I don't think too many people are ACTUALLY interested in the dream heroes section. Though what you said might help.
