I'VE BEEN PLAYING FOR A LONG WHILE NOW,,,BUT I STILL CONSIDER MYSELF A NEWBIE,,,

CAN ANYONE DO ME A FAVOR???

CAN ANYONE POST A HERO,,(maybe your favorite one or your most hated one),,then post the item that suites him best and especially his weakness...(his weakness in items or his counterpart hero)...thnx a lot.... ...

Sand King is One / All Heroes That Channel Spells Item : Blink Dagger And BkB
Tiny / Other Heroes with Low Mana Pool such as Atropos : Arcane Ring
Tiny / Other Heroes with Low Armor : Aegis
Bradwarden : Blade Mail ( Duh Period )

You kow, there are strategies available in the main site...

But here's something for you. Everyone needs Boots of Speed.
Nukers or skill dependent units need Boots of Travel.
Fast Attackers should get Power Treads.

If you're newbie, you can start with some Int Heroes, it's the easiest to use IMO. Buy Mekansm or Arcane Ring to support your team. Sometimes Eul is also needed.

well my favorite hero is kardel...

my new items for kardel...
-powerthreads
-arcane ring
-Lothars
-Butterfly
-EoS
-Linken

weakness:
well kardel is really weak with high damage heroes like lina,lion,luna,doombringer,tidehunter,viper,juggernaut.. etc...

well bec kardel has a low life, no stun,escaping skills,slowing skills...
well all you need to do is buy kardel a nice item and that will cover up all his weak spots...

like EOS--> not only that it adds hp and mana, it has a frost attack...
linken--> it can really boost you hp and mana..
lothars--> no escaping skill... this is the solution...
arcane ring--> he has no mana at early game... buy arcane so that you can spam scatter shot
Butterfly--> agi heroes need to boost there agi and it add evasion..
powerthreads--> you cannot chase any heroes without these and it can boost you attack speed a little bit..

well i use bane elemental go for sap and nightmare with fiends grip whenever u can save enfeeble for late game bfore stats items: Ring ofBasilus, Arcane ring, Necronimicon, Radiance, Blink dagger, Boots of travel

Well if you have been playing for awhile and still haven't got the grasp of the game, that means you haven't found a hero that fits your style. There a couple things to learn to becoming an elite player. I do believe that everyone can get to this level but it does take smarts.

First is to learn what heros you are up against. Always hit "-ma" at the start of the game to see what heros you are up against. This will also help you if you need a lane switch. I think this is what seperates a mediocre player from a pro, adjusing how you stat build your hero and itemize your hero to the opponents you are up against. Most would agree.
But if you need to learn a hero that doesn't take much mastering, take the Drow Ranger, she is easy to use, and one skill requires a little work(silence). However the rest are self acting(frost arrows need to be turned on) and get a lifesteal item(MoM,VO, or just plaing Mask of Death) and make gold. With more gold you can get better items.

Lastly whenever I play with Drow I own more often then not, cause this hero can get me to Buriza faster then most other heros, along with other good items. With Drow, it all depends on the heros that I face, but mostly i get damage and attack speed items. Mostly my items look like this

-boots of travel(i dont like treads, cause with butterfly and MoM I will have plenty of attack speed)

-MoM

-Butterfly

-Buriza

if this turns into a long game, then for FUN get a Manta, it owns late game, but to be real and the game is normal length at this point I usualy dont have time or money to get another killer item. So again I think Drow is a good hero to start off with.
