Craving Diablo

nuff said.
with a Diablo III beta on the way, I find myself wanting to go online and play Diablo II.

shame I lost my D2 (non expansion disk)

on a side note, I am having some doubts about Diablo III.. it is looking far to easy to kill things.... but perhaps they are showing us high levels in the equivalent to the normal difficulty of Diablo II.

well i haven't seen that much in the way of champion packs or drops... but yeah looking pretty easy, i hope they keep the various difficulties and hardcore mode Smile

also i want a closer server to Australia! going to miss the old classes though that's for sure!

also who are the new bosses/demons? wonder when the big D will appear

I remember the countless number of times i scammed people on D2...AHHHH good memories.

These blizzard fags need to hurry up. Its been delayed till Christmas now iirc, cant wait.

I recently started playing again after a year and a half, my poison necro was looking so nice until it got hacked... I rage quitted the game lol.

Anyway you are right, it looks like its easy, but again, like you said, Its probably high levels pwning monsters in normal Smile

like my old javzon playing around in nightmare MF runs. (nightmare Duriel has the highest drop rate of SoJ... and it is FREAKING LOW)

maybe I can steal my friends old copy of the original and use my expansion...

Lol I used to have a 400 MF ice sorc, hell Mefisto runs were never boring!

Original Diablo II is not expensive, but hard to find... No need to steal it ! (or maybe yes)

meh I am sucking up to blizzard for the very closed beta :P
yay for having ma sources.

new ladder season... I'm going to need to build myself up from scratch again.
sigh.
Looks like I won't be getting my dual dream sorc or Auradin back anytime soon.

I'll start with an MF Javzon.. or a Bilzzardress

I keep thinking Blizzard might do the same thing as they did with that game of theirs called "Ghost" and that is to advertise it on their site for so long and then one day just pull the plug on it entirely because it just sucked to much.

Yeah it was maybe on that disk cause it was old. It was to be their first 3rd person shooter based on the Ghost unit from Starcraft and had a total Starcraft theme.

But then after years of promoting it and leaking all sorts of game play videos, Blizzard just decided that it was to crappy to release and so it never was >.<

I guess when Blizzard makes so much money off WoW they can just fully develop a game and then not even release it because it would hurt their reputation.

If that happens with Diablo 3 I might mail them some anthrax... Evil Grin

we still have a long, probably very long wait till diablo III, like others it's driving me crazy. Though with Blizzard's policy of "it's done when it's done" you can always expect a great finished game but it might take (a lot) longer.
About it seeming easy, the gameplay videos are there to show how it works, fast and effecient. They probably just created some random stuff to show people and toned difficulties down or gave them some developper godmodes (blizzard really enjoys that).

Anyway it'll be a long wait, even for the beta. And what the F is the 5th class! Hysterical
