A suggestion for Aganims

Does anyone miss old Aganims??? Well, i do!!

I don't miss the whole item core, i just miss its stats. They were unreplaceable for some intelligence heroes. There is no item anymore to give such a huge mana-pool boost, not to mention the vital life boost. It was perfect for heroes like Destroyer, or Storm...

Do you remember?? It consisted of Soul Booster + Mystic Staff (no recipe) and gave:
+500 HP
+500 Mana
+30 Intelligence
Total of +500 HP, +890 Mana.



I have a suggestion for bringing back that item:

I suggest renaming the new Aganims and changing the icon, as if it's a new other item and not Aganims. But its usage will remain exactly the same. Nothing will change.
I consider this change natural, because Aganim's components do not seem to form a scepter anymore, isn't that right??

And return Aganims to its old form, giving it its old build-up and stats, with a new passive ability or sth.



P.S.: I hope icefrog will check this topic out...

If icefrog back the old aghanim. it's too imba since now aghanim not only for int heroes but for str and agi heroes. But i very agree give aghanim for destroyer but not storm and i agree for changing aghanim icon.

the newa agha is supposed to be good to all heroes that benefit from it. so if he remakes it to its old self i dont think it would be a viable core on for example yurnero

Please, understand that this "new aganims" will NOT improve ulties anymore, because that's the job of the new "renamed aganims" now, but it will have a new passive or active skill instead. I'm sorry if i did not make this clear. Now vote again... :P

I voted no simply because I was annoyed by one of the arguments for why old aghanims should be reintroduced. DotA is balanced based on item effects and power, not based upon whether the appearance of a certain recipe item is coherent with the appearance of its components. Whenever I hear someone present an argument based upon such reasoning around item appearance, I shiver.

Besides, as someone already suggested, there already is a hp and mana item suitable for ints: the blood stone (which also, like you suggested, has secondary effects). I believe there was a reason for why aghanims was changed, and I strongly doubt that the change will be reversed.

Intellegce based heros have more than evough items to choose from why give them another imba item but instead make more str based mid tier items

Oh my lord.. sometimes I don't read properly either but the poster said many times already.. there will be two items, 1) The Old Aghanims... 2) The new Aghanims which you rush... The poster wants both of them still in game but with different names.
