Help me! My computer is stuck in a reboot loop.

first of all sry if i type annoyingly, im posting this from my zune hd.... since my comp wont start....
So... evrytime i try, it reboots when wxp loading screen starts.
I then try to reboot with everyoption windows blak screen gives (safe mode etc).
This happened after i got a bat file that did this (yes it was stupid). the restart loop started right after i opened it.
i beg u, gibe suggestions.... i hve veey important stuff init so iwanna avoid a format

googling it is probably a better idea than anything we can tell you from here.

If googling on your zune is too hard, go borrow a friend's computer. Most likely it's a virus, and you will have to start in safe mode.

Have you tried "Last safe configuration" or whatever it's called? It restores your system to a previous state.

Go to a tech/ computer reapair store or something because if you mess up you might screw over your hard drive.

Send it back to the manufacturer. Best thing you can do right now. You'll have to wait like 2 weeks before they fix it so be ready for it

I had this same problem. Last year my computer died. My friend also had this problem. I say it died of aids. Anyway good thing it was rubbish and noob. Seriously it was 256mb of ram. Thats noob. It gave me the couridge to build my own computer. Just rip apart ur computer save ur hard disk drive and try to extract ur files. I got a friend that got a program that hacked into the files and extracted all my files. Then put it on another hdd. Then build ur computer and be happy. If its rubbish lik mine then seriously build a new 1. If its decent. Replace the hdd and recycle ur gpu. If ur gpu and cpu r nvidia 9800 or 260 or more recycle. If ur cpu is dual core or more recycle. If u have somethin lik me which was pentium 4 which was ok and NO GPU I was usin on board GPU which is rubbish with 40 fps on 800x600 then build urself a core i7 with 275 GPU and uve got a semi beast of a computer. Just remember to chk ur psu. XD.

u dun need to backup things thats was raid 0 is for. Its for speed raid 1 is for backin up. Seriously get another 1 and put it in raid 1 and back up ur stuff. Google stuff doesnt solve ur problem. It just copies the file. If its a file u want to get do wat i said. U will still have ur files just u can upgrade to a better computer. XD.

1] Startup with safe mode then run a virus check.

2]Do you have your XP Installer CD?
Start the PC, go to the BIOS setup, choose to startup using the CD.
Restart, put the CD in the drive, then wait. Stuff should come up. Choose the "Repair" option.

happened to me.

reformat or ask computer engineer to do it for you so you can backup your files.
