LoL Strategy.

Drain and fear is IMO the best combo for FIddlesticks - easiest to land kills with. The crowstorm works great with flash, try it out, it's like sand kings ulti + dagger.

if laning i take 1-2 levels of crow and max fear + drain.

rush out a rylai (imba slow works on drain but not crowstorm) basically you can crowstorm in, fear someone, then start draining them.
they get to die before they can escape.

drain is always worth maxing first of only because you can take it to the jungle once you hit level 7.
then you are off the enemy radar, farming and able to surprise buttsecks anyone you please.


other news, I got to play against a premade using the lame pusher strat that quickly surfaced in the closed beta BUT was so frowned upon that people just stopped doing it very quickly.

but open beta isn't such a kind, small community... ergo it is just lame.
they didn't even do it properly. Point is it was near impossible to counter them, and there are new annoying additions now (like cptn hammer the gem knight) to make your life a living hell.

anyway, I am off to bring it up in the vip~equiv forms on the LoL site, this will likely become a plague.
i demand skill restrictions on promote and.. probably fortify.
yes, fortify counters this strat, but no team takes 5 fortifies (trust me, you need 6) unless they know what they will be against, as it is a blind pick, blind match up...

point is, it is lame.
if you see it (and you will know)
tell them it is lame.

if there is a blitzcrank, tell them that CM fits the team LOTS better.
and yeah -_-
but then.. maybe people will get over it.
but with easy 15 minute wins.
I doubt it. - no easier way to quickly boost your ELO and win/loss ratio.

the easiest way to counter it in the closed beta was to do the exact same thing... but play better.

is how hard it is to beat.

You can do both - both work fine. You can go for some damage with black cleaver or infinity right away, or even bloody sword. You can go for Rylai's Scepter otherwise, and some other items. If you wanna mix the two, however, go for Trinity Force. Each and every one of that works fine, I tried them. Always get lifesteal, and some survivability items though, you need it. Don't be afraid to rush in and initiate, Katrina is possibly the most OP champion in the game.

you kidding?
there are 3... heroes that are insanely more OP currently.
this includes soraka. o.o

AP is the most effective way to build kat i think, but recent changes make pure dps a good idea, unfortunately your allies need to be able to provide slows for you to get your ulti out.
