Demon Edge Buff

Well I looked for one but I couldnt find a thread about this so here it goes. Recently, Demon Edge recieved buffed dmg, at the same price. HOWEVER none of the items that it can evolve into has recieved the same buff. Was there a particular reason they remained the same..cuz it seems like they almost got nerfed in a way. Also, how significant would the impact be if icefrog changed the weapons i.e. mkb+buriza to the same bonus dmg.

Demon edge is like the most rare item I see on pro's. Maybe iceFrog is just buffing the stuff pro's never use.

You mean the true strike thing!?Its used to counter those annoying late gamers who make butterfly and run in to rape you!And mortred! =D

I think its good now cause evasion imo is a bit imba anyway

Its fine Because Demon Edge was one of the worst Damage to Gold Items you could get no need to change the recipies

Its funny though:

Crystalis = 35 damage
Demon Edge = 46 damage
Crystalis + Demon Edge = 81 damage
Buriza = 75 damage

AND

Javelin = 21 damage
Demon Edge = 46 damage
2 Javelins + Demon Edge = 88 damage
MKB = 80 damage

ERROR!!!

like d4rk said, demon is one of the worse damage per gold item

factor damage(old ones) by price, and compare it to mithril/broadsword

Yea i agree with the old demon edge being horrible gold:dmg ratio but its not like any1 buys a singular demon edge and keeps it like that. Shimrra pretty much summed up my thoughts lol. The buff is almost useless seeing as how most people will get the other required items (like the javelins) before the extra dmf amounts to something. WHY MUST YOU TEASE US ICEFROG, WHYY?!

I'm betting that it'll result in the tier 4 items getting buffed more or something. Whole DPSgeddon thing... wouldn't surprise me a lot.

yea but the javelins probably equate to more dps with the proc ability. Regardless, the future shall reveal all! If im not satisfied, i will uninstall wc and continue on with my "real" life Laughing
