Magic Mallet

Price: 4050 gold

Description:
A magically enhanced hammer that allows warriors and mages alike to wield its power.


Requires:
Mithril Hammer (1600 gold)
Staff of Wizardry (1000 gold)
Chainmail (550 gold)

Discussion:

KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS ITEM CAN HAVE THE STAFF OF WIZARDRY SUBSTITUTED FOR AN OGRE AX, WHICH GIVES IT DIFFERENT BENEFITS.



Gives:

•+20 damage
•+10 intelligence OR +10 strength
•+5 armor
•(active) Magic Bolt- fires a blast of magical energy at the target, dealing damage and stunning the target based on the form of the mallet.

In depth: Magic Bolt

•39 sec cd, 100 manacost, 700 casting range
•does 190 damage and stuns for 2 seconds
•does an extra 90 damage and lowers the targets armor by 3 for 5 seconds if an ogre ax was used
•does an extra 1 second stun and burns 90 mana if a staff of wizardry was used




This item is a good addition for strength or int heroes, giving them a form of disable as well as some stats and armor.

one question... if you make it first with the staff, and then with the axe... will those two items have shared CD or not?
because if NOT...
imagine RHASTA with guinsoo, your hammer(axe) and your hammer (staff)
well...
1. shackle (4.75 seconds)
2. sheep (3.5 seconds)
3. sheep (3.5 seconds)
4. stun (2 seconds)
5. stun (3 seconds 90 mana burned)
=> 16.75 seconds disable...

hmmm, i had not though of that really

definitively they would at least share cooldowns in some way, so you cant double stun.

i might even go as far as to limit you to only one hammer, so if you bought the other hammer, the skill would be disabled


i am starting to look at this idea and like it less and less.

i think ill make a new one instead

The Cd was inferior to other stuns needs a cd buff then its good...
