Pudge suggestions

Pudge suggestions

Recently I've taken a huge liking to using pudge after I ended a game with 21/21 ha.

Anyway, I get this build nearly all the time:

QB(Loads of uses. setting up traps and for last hitting of course)
Bottle(great survival and excellent ganking support iten
Hood(self explanatory)
BoT(Moving around quickly to change the tides of a gank)
Orchid(Late game support/excellent killer item as well IMO)

The last 2 slots i get are random ranging from heart to bkb to gems or dust or wards.
Any suggestions on what else to get? Besides necron.
Btw, I ALWAYS buy a chicken

pudge is a great hero and one of the reasons for that is that he doesn't need almost any items at all to dominate and do his stuff
i usually go for bot+bottle+mass bracers and that's it
optionally i later get hood/pipe and/or aghanim

he can last hit well enough to start with so i don't really use q blade on him but imo orchid is a overkill, u got your ulti to disable a orchid kinda looses it's purpose

pudge doesn't need many items to be a monster so spend money on team items like chicken/potions/wards/gem

imo the best partner for him is omniknight, he casts repel on you and you stink the hell of the other team, you can't be disabled while casting ulti and the double slow from stink+degen is not a small thing, in most team clashes you will kick the whole other team because of this, perma damage+double slow+lot of nukes from the rest of the team = team kill, and if there are a few running away, double slow + hook does the job

I agree with your qb,hood,bottle,BoT but orchid i dont think so since you dont need much attack speed and the silence can be helpful but id rather spend my money in buying ginsoo

The new scepter does however require a bkb on him as well or the upgrade is effectively useless

pipe. ( or if your team really needs it, get pipe before heart).

also my skillbuild is this:

rot
flesh heap
hook
hook
hook
ult
hook
rot
rot
rot
flesh heap
flesh heap
flesh heap
ult
stats
ult
stats-25.

lvl 1 flesh heap gives you 0.9 str per level, further levels give about .3 more. so only one level can already fix you about 3 strength.

All you really need for pudge from early to mid game is:

BoT / tp scrolls
Bottle
Sentry wards
Hood

Pandemonium!

Watch out for those pandas they are very sneaky D:

I love pudge, so it saddens me to see an orchid used on him. QB is good, bottle is ok, Hood is a must, but so is scepter.

I go,
QB,
Hood,
Stout (just the shield)
BoT
then scepter

then whatever after, and having a stout is sick early game trust me

Regardless of how much it sucks, HoT is still one of the main hp items on this guy

I usally get boots bottle hod and the game ends..if the game continues I get a heart(to tank) or radiance(if there are squishy heroes) then I get boots of travel then aghaims

Try necromicon it solves mana, and enables you to kill heroes with escaping skills.
