this might sound noob but idk if it better or worse
just say clinkz uses ww and lich use frost armour on him does the enemy c u or ds with shell does the enemy c u but u still have ur invis on?
confusing myslef now

only things that can be seen trough invis is radiance like spells and radiance itself ofcourse. razors ult can be seen, leshrachs ult can be seen on the enemy targets etc.

EDIT: oh lulz, im godlike. didn't c that coming

cast ion shell on riki, and the enemys don't know what's hurting them.

do bladefury with yurnero, cast lothar and they don't know who hurts them.

So the answer is yes you have the buff, and no they don't see you.
Lich's armor only affects enemies that attack you anyway.
But with Ion shell, they don't see the pain but they feel it!

As people said, the enemy will not see you.

A cool method which worked rather well in pub games in the past was using anub'seran and ish'kafel. In the past, anub'seran could summon permanently invisible and fast moving watchers at level 1 (this skill has now been replaced by urna swarm). Anub'seran could summon one of those watchers, let ish'kafel ion shell it and then position the watcher beside the enemy. The enemy would get hurt by the ion shell without seeing the spell.
