Why can batrider's Flaming Lasso go through BKB's Avatar?

Why can batrider's Flaming Lasso go through BKB's Avatar?

was playing a game with my friend (he was Sven and i was Bat). he got sick of my Lasso+Firefly combo so he bought a BKB hoping to counter it.....SURPRISE! didnt work. is there a reason why Lasso goes through BKB or is it just one of those weird spells (like Dismember) that goes through Avatar

p.s. a powerwasher is a device that you connect to your hose. the water from the hose goes through a machine which propels it out the other end at a high velocity. the water comes out of a steel rod with a nozzle at the end, increasing pressure even more. also known as: power washer, pressure washer, and...that's it

All ultimate skills go through magic immunity/avatar, with a few exceptions that use dummy units (like ravage). Skills that deal magic damage will deal no damage for the duration of avatar (i.e. you can still cast finger of death on a magic immune unit, but it will deal 0 damage = waste), but any disable will still work (i.e. song of the siren, dismember, fiend's grip, etc). However, pure damage spells like impetus will still deal damage during magic immunity.

Avatar is not a "counter all" to magical spells. And yes, flaming lasso goes through magic immunity because it's an ultimate.
