I'm not too crazy about learning to play new games. I stick to a game, play it for years to master it. Get bored. Next game. Right now, I am peeking still

Valve is a pretty good company i wouldnt expect anything but the best from them. Nothings wrong. You pay for Quality.. When you dont pay.. look what you get.

I don't happen to think that LoL has a steep learning curve. If you are decent at dota and know the basics then LoL should be a breeze.

And nukes do a lot of damage. If you don't think so then you haven played against any good Ryze or Veigar,where a 8 sec cooldown nuke takes a quarter of your life late game.

@the review

I agree with most of Kotaku's comments about LoL except for his view on the bonuses from the $30 special thing. I don't really find it that worth it for the players to pay that much extra money for some new skins, heroes you can unlock without paying, and runes.

@current discussion

As of now, I'm pretty blurry on this "DBG" competition because I prefer that all 3 games get legit reviews from multiple sources.

Haha, I downloaded and installed LoL because I promised vins. 0_o

Apparently i choose my first hero wich has a full difficulty bar, but I still managed, it's sad you weren't there today.

We are making some assorted changes to the LoL metagame over the next month to month and a half.

I gave a lot of detail on it at:

This should make it more enjoyed by some of you dota players who had mixed feelings. We arent adding deny, but we are adding in some individual skill differentiation mechanics that will allow you to show off your skills more directly. It is still a team game however ;p

Awesome. i think 5 game streaks are epic. if it turns out more about dota, i think 7 game streaks will be better o_o nah.

I havent yet, but i will, Look at the quality of the game, Its like how i payed for warcraft 3 and the frozen throne, a game worth paying for, i also payed for counter strike source, all good quality games, Like i payed for WoW and payed for Warhammer. See the link?

Go play Runescape. Its Free and i heard the graphics are like LoL, you should enjoy it.

Money put into a game doesn't mean quality. Look at what happened to Demi-Gods, which happened to have high quality graphics but had pretty bad gameplay, similar to HoN. Just because YOU spent money on games YOU liked, it doesn't mean that games that you don't have to pay for suck. Also, it also doesn't mean that just because YOU have spent money on good games that all the games that you will buy are going to be good. After all, most marketed games are not free, and there are bound to be good and (mostly)bad games
