What was IceFrog's idea with BKB's CD and duration?

Why did IceFrog make it decrease CD and duration with use? Was there any balance idea behind it?

Black King Bar

Price: 3900

Requires:
Ogre Axe
Mithril Hammer
Black King Bar Recipe Scroll

Gives:
10 Strength
24 Damage
Active: Avatar
Gives magic immunity. Duration and cooldown decrease each time it is used. Lasts 10/9/8/7/6/5 seconds. 80/75/70/65/60/55 seconds cooldown.

it was too much used for carries. they went in and pwned everybody. now carries have to time it.

its now more Crystal maiden/Enigma orientated

That's not what I'm asking.

I'm asking why does the duration of the spell and CD reduce after each use?

It's kind of weird, so I want to an explanation for it weirdness.

since it was gonna be DPSgeddon, he figured..whats the use of magic immunity if everyones gonna DPS..

It was basically so that BKB is good when first bought, but becomes worse and worse. Why does Icefrog have charges on diffusal?

So that DpS will not own The Other Team every 80 sec... so that they will have a limited time to kick the other team's asses

Well I never really got it to untill I saw a troll ran in with BKB and killed 3 int heroes. Then ran out like nothing happened. Obviously 10 seconds is too long.

You know you can just sell BKB and buy a new one when it only lasts 6-7 seconds long and you think that's not enough. I usually do that for PA if the other team has too many disables and the game lasts long. 5 seconds isn't really enough to kill an entire team.
