Sometimes 5 seconds is all you'll need. If you need more, you can have an ally pick Omniknight.

seem like no1 is attempting to ans the qn: y the decrease per lvl instead of just a lower duration at all lvls.

imo, it is for carries to think twice when using BKB to escape ganks, because that will mean shorter duration for the next clash.

I thought Tinker can't even buy BKB???
Didn't they make it so that he couldn't but BKB in some old map?

I think tinker can use any item, he simply cannot rearm Necrobook, Midas, HotD, BKB, Arcane Ring, and I'm probably missing a few more.

Well the Avatar ability was changed to become weaker after every use because it was pretty cheap back in the day to keep facing some AoE casters who had 10 second Avatar all the time, thus preventing disables.

Then there were those carries who would jump in for 10 seconds and leave dead heroes on the battlefield because they couldn't disable/outfight him.

Therefore, Icefrog took the initiative to change the BkB's Avatar. So now, you actually need to find a good time to use it because you can't stay magic immune for large periods of time anymore.

if you get bkb early, you can't rape a team in 10 sec.

if you get a bkb late, you can. but most of the time that is too late.

if you get a bkb, you can't rape a team in 5 seconds.

its to prevent teamraping

Hmm...sounds like another installment to the Item Remakes Series.

(hint hint the reason behind this (and the Bloodstone nerf) is similar to the HoT neft hint hint)
