Price: 5600 gold

Description:
A lightweight blade almost as light as a feather, allowing its wielder to strike targets with ease.


Requires:
Blade of Alacrity (1000 gold)
Broadsword (1200 gold)
Demon Edge (2400 gold)
Slasher Recipe Scroll (1000 gold)

Discussion:

Gives:

•+10 agility
•+60 damage
•+10% attack speed
•(Passive) Combo slicing: after killing a unit, the user gains increased attackspeed and gains bonus gold for each consecutive kill during the duration.
•(Active) Finisher Attack: ends a combo with a powerful strike, dealing damage based on the length of the combo.

In depth: Combo slicing

•Activates when you kill a unit with a normal attack (cleave won't count, etc)
•Gives the user +40% attack speed for 3 seconds (+20% for ranged)
•Each kill within that duration refreshes the buff timer
•At the end of the combo duration (whether your used finishing attack or if time ran out) you gain gold equal to the amount of kills you made times the total duration of the buff. (ec: I kill a creep, then kill another one after 2 seconds, but failed to kill a thrid after 3 seconds. I would get [2kills * 5duration = 10 bonus gold])
•Max cap of 60 bonus gold at end

In depth: Finishing attack

•0 mana cost, 10 seconds cd
•Attack will deal 0 damage if there is no combo buff active
•Casting range is equal to the hero's base range if they are a ranged hero (casting range of 175 for melee heroes)
•Performs a regular attack that deals bonus damage equal to 12 times the current duration of the combo (max of +200 damage) (ranged heroes do bonus damage equal to 10 times the duration, max of +160)
•Bonus damage is pure


This item is good for farming up gold and also is nice for agility heroes and cna give a nice boost after enough kills. Practice is needed to get the finisher at the right time though.

i did not originally plan to add a cap, but there always needs to be a cap, so ill put one up (you dont get too much gold anyway)

= = ok fine. Can you do a bunch of finishing attacks? since the cd is only 10 seconds. Like say you been attacking units and you keep gettting the buff. then a hero comes and you use it on him. Then he runs. Then he comes again after like 10 seconds or something. Then you use it again.

pretty much, you won't really do a super high amount of damage most likely, maybe 50 bonus damage at the most. Keep in mind that it is physical damage that is dealt. Plus, the buff only triggers on creep kills, so you would need good timing to harass a hero like that.

The active should also remove the buff and give the gold, seeing as it is meant to be the finisher of the combo (maybe give another bonus 10 gold if you finished with the finisher?). Will the buff be removable with diffusal?

I'm talking bought turning the finishing attack into a pure damage. Cause if it doesn't really exceed 50 its going to be underpowered.

well, this item makes it easier to build up pushes and farm easier due to the combo boost, the finishing attack also allows the user to get a free attack on another hero if they come too close


the finishing attack performs a normal attack that does bonus damage, like blinks strikes but without the blink

Okay, but why would i buy this over Radiance, which gives me more damage, harassment, and push/farming for only 400 more gold
this item is missing the oomph it needs, you seem to be trying to sell it as a late game item, but 200 extra damage is pitiful
