Possible GC Items [Beastmasters Claws] and [The Rippers]

Posted: Sat Nov 07, 2009 8:04 pm

My two possible GC items - I want YOU to decide which will be the one I enter with.

Beastmasters Claws

Price: 3350 gold

Description:
A weapon used by a long dead beastmaster - it is said to be able to connect with the creatures of the wild and call them to your aid.

Requires:
Blades of Attack (500 gold)
Helm of the Dominator (1850 gold)
Blades of Attack (500 gold)
Recipe Scroll (500 gold)

Grants:
+40 damage
+5 armor
+15% lifesteal

Active - Call of the Wild:
Dominate a target non-ancient non-hero unit. You gain +10 damage and +2.5% lifesteal for each unit dominated. Units last indefinitely. Every creep you kill while this skill is in cooldown lowers its cooldown by 1 second.
75 manacost 300 cooldown

The Rippers

Price: 5000 gold

Description:
Two swords of two mortal enemies, that both died in a fateful battle, their weapons, each one drenched in the other ones blood, bound together forever.

Requires:
Crystalis (2200 gold)
Sange (2250 gold)
Recipe Scroll (550)

Grants:
+50 damage
+16 strength

Double Strike(Passive): 15% chance to attack twice, instead of once.

Bleeding(Passive, Orb Effect): 20% chance on attack to lower the enemies movespeed by 20% for 4 seconds, and deal damage to him equal to the 40% of the distance he travels while affected.

is the domination boost on bclaws permanent, or only as long as you control the dominated creep.

I think claws needs a creep cap so people wont dominate creeps for the lifesteal alone

Ugh, should have added that. It's only as long as you control the creeps.

Beastmasters Claws:

The recipe may confuse with Phase Boots, change it. Question: If the dominated unit dies, do you still get the bonus for the creeps?

The Rippers:

Pretty good item. What's the animation on the double strike? Or will it appear as X2 like a critical?

beastmaster's claw:
the concept is like amumu or alister's skill in LoL. they reduce sooldown by 1 second, if something happens. but its pretty much good

the rippers:
the passive is okay, the orb is imba. its just a free 4 second rupture

The Claws - The bonuses last as long as you control the creeps. I should add a cap on the creeps, and a duration, because you cna just stack them in the base as it is now. I failed to see the Phase Boots conflict, thank you DaMan.

The Rippers - The double attack is actually two attacks preformed in the usual time needed for one attack. I made it so as to be a thing that allows you to proc some effects more often.
The thing with bleeding is that it also slows the opponent - it won't deal a considerable amount of damage to him. I can still reduce it to 20% of the distance traveled though, but then it would have no point.

I prefer your beastmaster claws... Because the ripper's OE looks like a rupture + slow
(Although i like the doubleattack)
Btw,do the 2x attack reduce ursa's overpower's count?
Very nice,both of them...
Mind to check mine?

Both are nice. I go for beastmaster. One problem. Does it mean that each creep you kill gets the overall cooldown down. Or is it just for the next cast?

One last thing. 10 damage is alot. Cause you can just get your first creep making it 50 damage and 2.5% lifesteal. Then you can get your next one in 5 minutes. Say you get this at 14 mins. by 30 mins you get 4 creeps. (if they don't die) That's 80 damage and 10% lifesteal. And you can also have other items already. And also the cd gets reduce per creeeps kill. SO you can even have 5 or 6 depending on how fast you farm. So I think maybe reduce it or put a max cap On the damage and lifesteal.
