Don't think they would make a item for one hero only. Maybe it suits him better. Not a pudge fan so I can't say. Sounds Unlikely that they would make it just for him. From what I have seen so far allot of people use it for all kinds of heroes.

hmmm hood of defiance well one hood gives you 30% spell resitence and 8 hp regenration per second , its cheap to build 2xring of regeneration(750)+cloak of the planeswalker (650) plus helm of iron will(950)=2350 , so if you are against spell casters make 2 hoods and you have 60% spell resistence and if your anti mage which has 40% resistence and you get 2 hoods you have 100% spell resistence , or easier sad you dont get damaged by spells

Assault Not only For melee Assasins But for Soft and Fast Heroes Too..
Nice Item For Boneclinks And Traxex.. I think..
BuT iT'S tOO eXpenSive..

HoD.. Yes Item For Pudge..Nice Items For Banehallow,Centaur and Tidehunter
