Nah, he started leveling up armour at level 8. Mostly laned. Warded and roamed sometimes.

Just finished game 1. Seems like BFB found that Slardar was quite threatening that Lich decided to level armor earlier than level 10, ie level 8. That, plus Coco aka KKY's habit of X-ing sprinting Slardar actually made a difference.

And as I expected, Ben-Medusa knew the Snake trick I mentioned some time ago. His Medusa was much better than the Asian FTD one - then again he's an Asian himself. Laughing

oh man. So much has changed in a few month. Three carries in one team? I remember not long ago in 6.64 "all-gank-and-almost-no-carries" were most team's strat, and now this? So much has changed in one version. I blame SMM.
DotA needs a change in the next version. HATE TURTLING!!!

I don't blame SMM.

I blame Ct. Ever since Mushi displayed awesome "farm then rape" skills with Lanaya and Ursa, Kuro started doing it, and now every1 wants a turn. And that lead to the thought of, "If those 2 carries can do it, I will try with another carry!" And hence, the Multi-carry-turtle/farm-til-u-can-rape strat was born!

Watched this on stream with audio commentary too, sweet.

MyM got tottaly outplayed in both games, In the second game they actually tried to copy BFB's picks by picking the amazingly boring Medusa. The second game turned into a real turtle fest. they got strongly outcsed in both games.

And what the heck with the vanguards and no Storm or Sankding for MyM?

gay turtle strats don't work in europe, as BFB showed MyM =D

Both were not very interesting imo. MYM got outfarmed in both the games. Angel in game 1 was supporting with Mirana but started farming after he got dominating streak so MYM were playing with 4 farmers lol. Bleh!

Puppey did a good leading job there, first game was the reliable SMM farm strat quite easily won while the second was a push strat against MYM who were in a do or die situation. Sad we couldn't see the ban/pick sequence of second game which tells a lot of things. Sad
