Warlord - Chapter 19 !New!

Chapter 1

I be always called the hotheaded and feisty. People shunned me coz I would get mad too easily. They be probably right. I remember the time Yar'julik called me a fool. He didn't come to class the next day because of a broken arm and nose. Everyone knew I did that to him. From there, everyone be scared of me. I was fine with it though. I be feeling stronger now. People respect me. And I like that.

My name is Jah'rakal. My father be the general of the army of our clan. He taught me the ways of the ancient trolls. Because of him, I have graduated at the top of every one of my classes. Many people say I will take my father's place as warlord. My father believes so, too. It be a huge responsibility, but I have been training for it my whole life.

Today, they are recruiting soldiers for the army. I have, of course, applied already. The recruiters came to our school today. Many were chosen for the regular army. Few were chosen for the elite group. My only friend, Kah'Laka was chosen for the elite squad.

The recruiter walked up to me. He stared me straight in the eyes. I stared back intently. "Jah'rakal..." "Warlord's son, I you be?" "Yes sir," I said. "I hear you have be at the top of your class your whole life." "Am I correct?" "Yes sir," I said again. "I also hear you be hotheaded." "I'm not hoth-." I was interrupted. "Dishonesty is not allowed in the army." "I WASN'T BEING DISHONEST!" I roared. "Dishonest..." the recruiter muttered to himself. "I can hear you," I told him. He glared at me. "Regular army."

"WHAT?!?!" I yelled. "BUT I BE THE WARLORD'S SON!" "YOU CAN NOT PUT ME IN THE REGULAR ARMY!" "My choice be final." "Now go meet you fellow comrades." I trudged to the group of trolls chosen to be in the regular army. They backed up when they saw me. I smiled. "Well, I guess we're be fighting together," I said. "What?!" "You're supposed to be in the elite squad." "They put me here." "That be stupid of them." "You're the best fighter here!" "Yeah, I know." "I'll show them..."

I be wakened in the middle of the night. "BLOODHUNTERS! BLOODHUNTERS! COMING FROM THE NORTH!" someone shouted. I quickly put on my armor and grabbed my trusty axes. I saw Kah'Laka already headed to our north gate. I chased after him. When I caught up to him, he said," What are you doing here? Your squad be already ahead!" "Blast!" I immediately sprinted ahead of the elite squad. I saw my father leading the army. He saw me. "You're late son." "I heard you messed up your recruitment." "Yeah, sorry father." "It's alright." "Just prove to me now that you belong in the elite." I smiled.

I saw my first bloodhunter troll. They had blue skin and many tattoos. They're eyes be gleaming a pale red. They carried many spears. They truly seemed thirsty for blood. "Hold!" my father called. We all stopped and braced ourselves. The bloodhunters charged.
