need to kno the truth bout illusions... help pls

since im a big nessaj fan (sorta obvious i think) and his ulti is just pure ownage, i gotta kno more about illusions to plan my item build, so help is really REALLY appreciated, thx in advance

Illusions get damage from primary stat items ( str/agi/int )
Only mana burn orb effect works on illusions.
Gem of true sight works on illusions.
Illusions deal less damage but receive more damage
uhm... that's why I remember........

how bout procs like crit and bash? do they hv effect even tho the animation shows?

I dont think the bash and crits works. Its only the animation at play.

But then again, I'm not so sure as I'm not an illusion fan.

Well, I think bash and critical do on illusions. (eg. Naga Siren). But their damage is less than the true one. And they don't get damage from 'damage increase items'. So better not to buy it. When u purchase it, this will happen: eg. True hero deal and show in red 400 dmg crit while the illusions only 250 dmg crit. So when they see that, they will know which the true one is.

yes but remember that chaos illusion do full damage! so i think they will do a great critical, cause they atack at 100%

Illusions/images proc a fake bash.

Fake Bashes don't stop the enemy, but it prolongs the duration of the Real Bashes.

worked only for phantom lancer.

they show same crit value, but the not the damage cause.
example Image : 50% damage
NOrmal damage 100
Critical 2x
-> damage shown 200
-> damage effect 100.

naga siren has her own critical.

Radiance AOE damage also works with Illusions, but take note that they do not stack.

1. Nope, Gem of true sight does work on all heroes' illusions (eg. Terrorblade, etc)

2. Nope, When you carry a damage boosting item, you will get crit much higher than te illusions. As I have explained before.

Both of you are confused.

Onee-chan says:
You can't determine illusions using Gem of True Sight, except when it's Azwraith using Dopple Walk

FF says:
If you are carrying a Gem of True Sight, your images also have True Sight


Both of you are correct. Illusions show the same number, but it doesn't deal the number stated. Images deal less damage because they don't benefit from damage-boosting items.

hi,

this is what i observed when i saw a CK vs an obsidian destroyer. Be very careful - though CK illusions can deal full dmg, but OD's arcane orb gives him +400 dmg vs yr images, and talk abt the 3x dmg yr illusions get....

he lost his rapier and OD took it. OD total dmg: 600++

lolz... Obsidian destroyer with 2 divine raipers? I didnt know images dont get bonuses from +xx damage items... They also dont get any bonuses from +xx% IAS items as well... So basically you have to go all stats?

So Nessaj basically gets:
- Heart of Tarrasque
- Boots of Travel
- Manta Style
- (Linken's Sphere? Stats + Mana for 3 spells Nessaj spams...)
- Bunch o' Bracers that you replace w/ more Hearts when rich...
...comments? Suggestions?

well if u play aggainst hero who can cast 3-4 illusions and if he probably has some armor aura you can just look at that illusions wont get armor and hero will... blah
