is it true that when you cast Purge/Diffusal on an illusion or summoned unit... it will die instantly? or at the very least take huge damage..??? is this true? i haven't tried it but my friends said it was true... Hysterical

err, no
it does a certain amount of damage
if the creep has lower hp than that, yes it will die instantly

It normally kills illusions from what i heard. i have tried it, but i somehow always keep hitting the real guy. other times, i havnt tried with enough fair tests. i only end up killing weak illusions and not fully healed illusions.

Diffusal Blade's purge instantly destroys Summoned Units, IIRC

it will take only a large amount of damage on illusion or summoned unit even the summoned unit has spell immunity

medusa's purge - 600 damage

so does that mean that if you use Diffusal blade's Purge on Meepo's Divided We Stand it would just, you know, die instantly.? or at least deal huge damage.? Kill one Meepo kill'em all right.??? Embarassed

nope meepo's last skill are clones (i think) and will not die on purge

no, meepo's clone will not die nor take any damage. The clone is set to recreate the real meepo, but with less buff benefits. Only the primary meepo can acquired the full potential of the item. [only boots are shared].. Btw, why purge meepo's clone? U can kill them easily...

ahh... okey, hehehe i thought it would be a faster kill if Purge worked on the meepo clones... ^_^ how about Harbinger's Arcane Orb.? does that worl on Meepo's clones.? they are after all summoned units... Laughing

no, the meepo clones are more like actual heroes than summoned units, they're just weaker and easier to kill

Anyway Purge from diffusal can INSTANTLY kill summoned unit ( even infernal! )
While others like arcane orb, medusa's purge, etc... give you xxxx extra damage to illusions and or summoned units.
