About chioce of heros

What do you think of this?

1. In a 1on1 or 2on2 battle, is it better to choose
a late gamer hero?

Because mostly in this kind of game, it usually takes
a long time before it's over, even though you want to
finish the game quickly, it lasts that long.

but. . .

2. When it comes to a 3 on 3 up to 5 on 5 situation,
would it be better to choose an early up to a midgame hero?
(mostly intelligence type)

Because since the players are
many, you can push, gank and kill as early as you can
so that the enemy cannot farm or level well.

And you can finish the game or maybe make the
enemy surrender as early as possible.
(Mostly in my experience 3on3 up to 5on5
can last 20 up to 40 minutes, with a maximun
level of 16 and a minimun of eight)

Is this a good choice or what?

I think you are sorta right. But anyways, a hero who ig good for the whole fight is better right? Take morphling for example-waveform is soo powerful early game, while you will have adaptive strike to deal around 600++ damage in late game.
