Its been noticed that kids have been watching too much of these anime cartoons and becoming retarded.
For those of u who dont know what are anime cartoons.
(Anime cartoons are those stupid cartoons where all the characters look chinky and their hair will be all spiked and stupid and the character's eyes will be very big and the nose and the mouth will be small)

Please advise children not to watch this becasue they will become mentally challenged and retarded and its very sad when that happens.

Anime is for retarded people in mental assylums it serves as a purpose of entertainment and these mental hospitals .
So please do not watch them they are only for retards.

Well, I'm gonna have to say that not all people who watch anime become retarded. I know many who watch it lots of times and still maintain good lives and high grades. So don't think this applies to all people. Those who become retarded don't have management in their lives.

Well ask them to kill us in dota dude.We are online tommorow ie saturday night from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am (IST-Indian standard time)
And im sure people who are addicted to anime would rather watch an anime porn movie instead of watching an actuall porn movie with humans starring in it. (Thats a fact dude)

Well I personally like anime. I go to University of Washington so that should be enough proof that I am not a retard :P.
Anime is a case by case situation. Yes, there are retarded anime. I'm sure if you watch enough of those you'll become retarded. However, there are also very deep and controversial anime that are hardly "retarded". Examples of these are Ghost in the Shell which is a sci-fi cyberpunk-ish anime that contains much philosophy of humans and machines. Neon Genesis Evangelion contains many metaphoric references to the Bible and takes quite a bit of thinking to fully comprehend. However, I personally do not find the series "pure genius" as some others do. My point is that yes there are some pretty bad anime out there but I highly doubt that a horrible plot line will make you retarded.
Lets take a look at some United States cartoons. Ren and Stimpy, yeah retarded. Beavis and Butthead, yeah really retarded, Invader ZIM, do I really have to comment on that one? Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island, wow, what A.D.D. fodder. US cartoons have very low cranial requirement. Some are so pointless I'm amazed how they made it onto public television. Others have no point at all. I've watched some for a bit and they seriously drive me insane.
In Western society cartoons are for children only so they very rarely have actual plot lines and usually just have single shot story line per episode. Anime itself is simply a way of art and animation, it is a style. The anime style itself does not make a person "retarded" the same way our taste in shoes or hair cuts do not make us "retarded". Anime on average contains plot lines and stories that are far more complex than a US cartoon. Also a good number of them are directed at older audiences say +18. A good example of this is the anime "Berserk," one of the most gory and explicit animes out there. The tragedy it contains is very cruel and its manga (comic) counterpart is even darker. It would not make one retarded after watching this though it certainly would make one depressed.
MI-Lepke, yes, I agree if you watch "retarded" anime you will become retarded. However, if you watch more enlightening and entertaining anime such as Great Teacher Onizuka (undoubtedly one of the best comedy anime out there, it is so good that I got my redneck roommate who had never seen anime ever before hooked on it) or Ghost in the Shell. Your generalization that viewing an animation style makes one mentally incapacitated is false. It is the content of the anime or cartoon, that when viewed too frequently, makes one retarded. A good example of this is Beavis and Butthead. Whether B&B was anime in its western style or anime style would not matter, it would be retarded and pointless however you look at it. All in all western cartoons contain more mindless and pointless content than the +100 anime series I have viewed rolled together, primary because I do not watch bad anime.

Here is a summary for all those who watched too many retarded western cartoons or played too much Halo and have too much A.D.D. to read the above:

It is the content of the show that makes a person retarded, not the style be it live-action, anime, or Western. Spending too much time in front of the TV will make any kid retarded regardless of what he watches.
